Hey Gurdians! This was one of the hardest concerts for me. The amount of preparations, the crew, the equipment... All useless unless the electricity is not reliable. We sadly had a power outage on stage. It was not a complete stage blackout, because there were some power cycles that still worked, but it was enough to cancel out whole concert. Some equipment started smoking too, so it was impossible to set everything up again in time and keep going. Super sad. I hope this never happens again.

Yeah, men's mental health certainly needs to be addressed, here in the US all the mass shooters are men, somethings wrong, I've been in the mental ward twice and would never hurt a fly and alot of the folks I met in there seem the same, but SOME for certain dudes there's something off in bad ways that effects everyone negatively.

Stuff that would just make we want to try harder to see her. When a band's set doesn't go well for technical reasons and the few songs they did sound good it's makes me want to see them more.

@@boohoo5419 I don't think nowadays we have more mental issues than before, mental health issues were not recognised and such and probably presented in a very suppressed way
I love how you could tell through the audience’s sound that they were simultaneously booing the electrical outage but cheering for Patty Gurdy at the same time. 😀
Would love to see you tour the USA sometime in the future
Thank you for supporting mens mental health!!!! I love your Music.

Oh the joys of anything live! You were left with little choice and you responded professionally and brilliantly. And it looks like the audience was understanding and still showing you love. I still show you love as well and wish you many more live performances (which i hope to see one one day) WITHOUT technical failures!!! 🤗
These moments are there to make your life more interesting! Imagine a life that went all according to how we expected it to be. There would be little story there! Just like the flood, you turned this into a positive moment. Good job, love the video and premiere. So happy to have been here on time. Thanks for the reply! I'm a really big fan. Even told my wife about you 😂

Where are the stagehands when needed? Certainly there was no way for improvisation due to the big audience. Live music is always great work.

"Imagine a life that went all according to how we expected it to be. There would be little story there!" I needed to read this comment today. It placed meaning in my day (my week, actually) & helped me make sense out of a lot of negatives that have been going on lately (car transmission problems, poor personal health, family crises, dog is dying, bestie has legal troubles, etc etc). Thanks for your positive, practical advice. Blessings to you.
In the early 2000's I was engineering a recording at a live recording event. Beautiful sunny weather predicted so we had a tent above the sound console and everything was set to record live interviews and a traditional Chinese instruments. In the period of two hours an very unexpected weather front occurred which resulted in first light then hard rain. We kept recording as the interviewer/host and the band were willing to continue playing under the tents. The audience also stayed as garbage bags were handed out to help fend off the rain. Thirty minutes into the event recording some microphones failed from the moisture. An hours into the event the band could no longer stay in tune due to the moisture effecting their instruments. By the end of the event the only microphones still operational were two wireless microphones being used by the host and her guests. As we somehow finished the event and the remaining audience was applauding the show we heard a loud thump and the p.a. system went down from moisture as the safety protocols triggered it off. We killed the power to the complete systems and slowly disconnected and towel dried every cable and piece of equipment as we loaded them into equipment travel containers. Finally it was time to box the console and just as we closed the container a rip started to leak on the tenting overhead. We grabbed the container with console enclosed and pulled it away just as a river of water ripped through the cloth and deluged the table with a flood of rainwater and tent debris. The show was aired the following day and on listening you couldn't tell that anything had happened during the recording. The music was inserted from a live recording the band had released a month before with only the beginning and ends from our recording being used due to tuning issues. No equipment was damaged and the whole rig was used for a number of years after this event. But we learned never to trust the weather forecast ever again. We also replaced the tenting with some with a steeper slant so that rain would no longer pool but rather run off the covering material.

I’m not reading all that but here’s a 👍.
Still lots of crowd love, even with the speakers down- that speaks volumes
Even that there where problems my spouse and I are really happy that we could see you on stage! You are wonderful!
The grim reality of live performance. I’ve played IRO 4,000 gigs, including all through the early seventies when there were endless National power cuts. We were always ready to play an acoustic set with torches and candles: not easy. Also, be prepared for amplifier failure, PA breakdown, band sickness, unexpected cancellations, late arrival, transport problems, breakdowns, arguments, the whole bloody gamut of live work. I still love it, but it’s not all fun and instant success… without a few disasters, there’s no learning. Good luck! 😁😁🎸🎸🎼🎼🎤🎤
You and your band really took it well! And the fan shook it off and had a big laugh! Some fans wouldn't take it so well as they did. Hats of to you and the band and great fans!

Always difficult to leave your own show ! Apart from that, I really love your dress 😍
the crowd sounds great!! thats badass!!
Oh no!! That's really too bad that you had that happen But on the "up" side, you had the opportunity to perform, and you had a large crowd of people that knew who you were, knew your sounds, and was there to support you! So I guess in one way you can look at this as a "win"! Congratulations! You're dreams are becoming reality!
You're right. I don't know if it was the time to talk about mental health. Maybe there are people in the audience who suffer from these problems and want to forget during this moment. You do a lot on instagram. Thanks for all of us who have a shit in the brain.
Sorry you got cut short, that sux. I was in charge of sound, at a concert, in an old theater. It could only handle the power needed for the stage lights, and not for the PA too. We did not know that ahead of time. I had the PA all set up working great, and as soon as the stage lights came on, the main breaker tripped and everything went off. Not ready to give up, I ran a long extension cord, out the back of the theater and plugged into power from the building next door, to get the sound system working again. Show went on as planned, and we had a great night 🎶🙂🎶 Music is life!
Hey... it happens. You guys handled it very well. The audience was cool. Everyone was safe and in good spirits. No one got hurt. I'd call it a win! You live to rock another day.
I love you, ty for bringing this topic to light, we need help to sometimes.
You are a true beauty in the world today. We love ya ! !
Thank you for caring about everyone Patty
Awww it's okay girlie, it happens. I'm glad y'all made the best of it 😊
Well you are a champ for handling that so well. I can see some musicians, especially the ones with huge egos, having a big tantrum about losing power.
Oh no! Sometimes we just end up in a situation where there is not a happy ending and we just have to be openly honest that it is time to stop. Your fans evidently love your music, so they will most certainly come back. Whatever the electrical issue is or was, know that you are all admired and accepted for the fantastic work that you do! Henceforth... maybe carry a back-up generator?
As a man it makes me proud to have women like you advocate for men's issues and mental health thank you.
What an awesome crowd! They didn't miss a beat!
Thanks for advocating.
Been dealing with depression and anxiety for years. Keep going! I found exercise helps a lot. I wish I was as talented as you in music. I can't sing or play instruments
Bummer that was a fantastic show. Better days ahead you star.
That really and truly sucks, Patty. I'm so sorry!

Tech difficulties. Great that even though your a star Rocking the stage and only have to say I love you, you take the time to talk to men about mental health. Very loving of you. Earned my subscription.
Cool recovery 🤠
Get ready with a powerful "preppers" gurdy and material. Just a really loud alto and tuneful melodies. You will get the audience very quiet to hear you. It will be magical.
Your sound blasts the sound system. 🍀
You out there doing it aint u. You ever in Alabama I'll come to your concert for sure. Love your energy!
Please keep up the good works

Thank you for bringing up the topic of men's mental health. It's something definitely not talked about enough
Having run a 2,000 seat theater, I know what this is like. Power goes and there is nothing you can do it all up to the people on stage and you did a great job.
Patty is a hero for me. 🙂
You are awesome.😊❤️✌️
What a bummer!
Still amazing, keep going ❤️🔥
Your a true champion! You were still trying to keep going. Even without electric instruments! 🤜🤛👍
those are real fans... they even cheer you when you have to cancel the show....
Awesome video. Sometimes life sucks. You get more beautiful every video I see.
😥 it happens. I am sorry for the fans
What a difficult situation. Your audience was so understanding. Many audiences where I live would have wrecked the place. Much better to be understanding.
People love you, people value your performance, people feel your soul. Run this way as you doing. Thank you! I'm waiting you will come in Rimini ITALY. Maybe one day
i loved you for years ...but the intro and how you handled it by diverting to a meet and greet ...expert class and i love you even more
Total pro! Would love to see you play live someday!
That “Running up the Hill” cover was awesome!
Back in my live sound days I dealt with more than a few power issues, but the funniest one was from a church I used to attend. I was about 15, and I was running sound for the youth choir, and we had set up our portable PA system in the sanctuary just like we did when we played in other churches. Having learned the hard way, I taped the power cord for the mixing console and other house gear to the floor where it crossed the walkway and led up the power outlet. I did this because numerous times before I had people kick the cord out of the socket by tripping on the bright orange and easily-visible cord. No one was going to trip on it THIS TIME! About five minutes into the show, I lost all power to the mixing position. I looked over to where the outlet was to find this little old blue-haired lady standing there with the cord in her hand. She had come in late, saw the taped-down cable, and ripped it up tape and all, because she "was afraid someone would trip over it."
You are amazing ✌️❣️ ✌️
I tip my hat to you. Not a lot of folks talk about men's mental health. You ladies have a tough time of it too. Just glad both are starting to get recognized.
Awww!... Rotten luck, Patty... It's a lot easier playing on the beach! 😉
Thank you so much for making mental health and especially mental health for men a priority! It is a huge problem for men; one that isn't discussed often enough. Making it OK to talk about is such an important step. Thank you!
I love that your promoting mental health for men and women, it is so important. Even in party mode you can touch on it without bringing down the vibe. More power to you
I hate when that happens and the power goes out.
This is the first time my subscription brought her up on yt in a long time. Great to see her again. Where was this?
I was there and i loved the few songs you did play 😊

I appreciate your willingness to talk about mental health, and in particular encouraging men to take part in the conversation.
