"I HAD NO IDEA HOW TO RIDE MOTOCROSS" - How Did Jeremy McGrath Won a Motocross Title? 🤔
Jeremy McGrath is the King of Supercross. With 72 wins and 7 championships he stands alone as the man inside a stadium. Obviously I am a lifelong fan of MC but it wasn't until recently we got to hang out at Mammoth Motocross where I got to see the secret to all of his success. He really love riding his dirtbike.

Man…these kids today will never understand what we saw and experienced in the 90’s. The 90’s were wild. It was a great, sad, amazing, fantastic, crazy time. Miss it.

Such simple times that were so rad.
The more of these I see the more I love this guy, Growing up watching him and how he progressed was just so magical. Humble, honest, and just a good dude.
Growing up, riding, in the 90s and early 2000s racing was so much trial and error. Reading motocross action mag to find out little tips for setting up your bike and what the pros do. We had to figure out so much on our own. Great times
God, I love this interview with Jeremy. I always thought what he thought of himself towards MX. love the honesty, and all the commentary about his competitors! All my respect to Jeremy!
Damn, listening to Jeremy talk about starting his career back in the late 80's... This guy looks really good & healthy all these years later! Amazing all around dude!!
The King! MC can relate, translate and break it down like no other. Such a down to earth dude. I’d kill to have a couple beers with him 🍻
Marty Smith and Jeremy are my all time favorites
Awesome interview with the King!! Was a fan in the 90s and will be forever
more of a fan of MC than ever after watching these clips! dude is so down to earth humble. who knew?!
Excellent rep-or with you two! Very enjoyable and informative.
Jeremy's opening segment in "TerraFirma 2" made me a fan for life!!
I was coached by Gary one weekend and he offered a 1 on 1 weekend for me. After those 2 sessions I went from being the 3rd place local kid to qualifying for lorettas on my 85 and winning a national championship on my quad the same year. Gary was a huge part of a lot of us.
Glad he mentions Gary semics cos he is a brill coach, mx is the core of the sport and mgrath just started winning 🥇
C class. thats awesome. Ive always told my son, now 17... just stay on the bike Sam, It will all come together and you wont even know its happening.
On the subject of Brownie, we used to see him alot here in the UK. Reason being,he used to come race here so that he didn't point out in the 125 class, then when the specific amount of time was up,he'd go back to the states and race 125 class again. Dude was and still is a beast. Met him plenty of times, and each time he would have a genuine conversation with you, and take the time to ask about you aswell.made you feel like he genuinely took an interest in his fans. Don't get me wrong,I know he probably couldn't have cared less, but as a kid it made you feel great about yourself.Talon Vohland was the same, got to race Talon (I was in the same race, but that was about it!😂) we shared line choices before the race, and he thanked me afterwards. That's a story for another time though.
Larock was just a beast. So in shape
Love hearing Jeremy. He did so much in his life and soo much experience. I remember seeing him in phx AZ. Fuckin wooped that whole field of 4strokes on im pretty sure it was the CR250 . I'll remember that always
He seems chill his voice in a podcast is really natural. I would rather stick an ice pick in my ear. Then listen to Brian Deegen talk about anything.
He is right...I saw him at unadilla in 1996 and he looked like he was out training...very together rider...one of the best
Saw a video or pic with Ricky, Bubba, and TP!! Those kid's had history!! 😮

The very first Fox Terrafirma video had some commentary and Interviews with little mini Bubba, Pastrana and RC. Was funny as hell seeing a little gap tooth, scrawny Bubba. Then seeing what he became and accomplished is just good stuff

This is true
I went to the 97 Southwick National Wearing the 97 McGrath hat from his year with Suzuki and the No Fear Knack shoes on. In the pits I handed Jeremy my program to sign. He took it and went to sign it but he was called to a signing table to sit and sign autographs. He handed the program back to me unsigned. In the few seconds it took me to walk over to the table he would sit at to sign autographs there was already a long line of people waiting. I never got his autograph. A friend borrowed that hat and never gave it back. Ha.
Jeremy started riding at 15 in 85 & in 1987 was His one only Loretta Lynn’s title 125 C-class. He came back in 1989 & ’90 raced the A classes His best finishes were a pair of thirds But Won 125 West Supercross Titles in 91-92 He Won 7 total Supercross titles It Got boring for a minute Let's See If Jett Lawrence Will Dethroned King Of Supercross at 20yrs Old He Has A Good Chance Of Doing So

I was not good. I mean yeah i could get a top 5. But i had fast bikes. Lol. A natural born mxr
I'm pretty sure Larocco wasn't hanging out with MC...
Anybody watching this and their wives are pissed completely off because you're wasting time? Dont worry its not personal!
Idk man i think MC is the fastest retired Pro out there. Rhyno was close second maybe first but cant ride anymore he's too nuckin futz 🤘🏻 3. Emig 4. Villo 5. Brown. 6. Deegan (250 2stroke) 7. Trey Canard I respect MC the most cause he slings it hard on a 125, 450, or a 500. I think hes fastest on the 500. Deegan needs to toss his 450 hes way faster and smoother on a built 250 2stroke. Just my opinion from watching them ride on KZread vids. Havent seen RC or Stew ride lately, other than RC putput the triumph around. That suzuki vid RC had a few years back whipn the shit out of that RM was fast as fk vintage RC, but havent seen him twist it that far since. Open for discussion

RC still has it. Especially now that he lost a lot of weight and appears to be back in way better shape. You never see him going all out when he rides nowadays but he still looks exactly the same on the bike as he did 20 years ago. Prime RC would still win races and championships against today’s riders for sure. He was just that good and that smart.

Being friends is NOT a real reality of motocross. I’m down here by Oklahoma. ponca- J bobs- 4 state etc is all within just a few hours of me, despite what you think or read the medwest is THE pinnacle of motocross. With that said riders here are extremely aggressive if you are better then them. I’ve had guns pulled on me in the pits after just a simple practice session at the Arkansas series championship. Racing and being friends is not real. Maybe after you retire.
