Stay out of my way
Doing things we aren’t sure how to do. THAT is real entrepreneurship. That is what a lot of us do everyday as we build these companies large and small.

Absolutely, I got no idea how to set up advertising and it's taken me two weeks to set up shopify properly with all the legal stuff , analytics and social media integrations but I'll be dammed if slow progress is going to stop me, we weren't born running, we all had to fall down to learn.

@@alexsmith9983 You got this! I am here with you building out our first SaaS inventory database. 3k SKUs so far!
I am so grateful you felt open to sharing this. To actually see how you handled your difficult day was very encouraging and reminder that we're all human- you included. Glad it ended well!
I absolutely love this episode! Leila, thank you for being human. You are so resilient. Not to mention, you and Alex are so cute together. Thanks for the reminder for us to just..be.
3:33 when you gave props to your girls made me almost teary eyed, so rare to see such good leadership and GENUINE appreciation for peoples teams. GO LEILA GOOO
Thank you for breaking the norm. We have bad days as entrepreneurs-especially the woman kind, lol. Thank you Leila, for not being super shiny and packaged perfectly all the time, and being willing to risk looking Bitchy in order to maintain congruence. You have my respect for the courage and fortitude it takes to do that. You and Alex are the best things to happen to KZread in a long time. And Happy belated birthday! 🙏🏾💖
Absolutely loved this episode! It's so refreshing to see someone share not just the highs but also the hard days of entrepreneurship. My husband and I are in business together as well. The mutual support between you and Alex is truly inspiring.
This is the kind of content we need more of, real and raw. This is why I have so much respect for you and Alex, I feel like most people would never dare to show the world how it really is. Thank you for the transparency and more importantly thank you for being you.
Your content was recommended to me recently and I’ve really been enjoying listening to as much of it as I can in between work and gym time. It’s refreshing to hear you talk about your bad days. They’re inevitable and make the rest of us feel a little less alone 😊 Keep fighting the good fight, I’ve referenced words of wisdom from you and Alex as I continue to work on motivating my team to successful outcomes personally and professionally.
Love your authenticity Leila🤩 thanks for sharing your vulnerabilities 🙏 Watching you guys has altered my mindset in a myriad of ways. Hope your crappy days are few and far between. Glad it turned around in the end.😅 Have an Awesome day!!😜
GREAT lessons! 👍❤️🔥💯 "A lot of good things can come from a bad day" - especially when, like Leila did and says, you show up for yourself and others, and keep your commitments and promises to others and yourself anyway, and that way at the end of that bad day you'll not only be proud of yourself, but stronger too for facing and approaching your challenges head on anyway, versus something else like underperforming, under trying or flat out avoiding them. Amother plus about facing your bad day head-on is it makes you grow and improves your ability, confidence, and capacity to handle the next bad day. Way to eat that frog, Leila! AND show us how it's done! (And in this case a day full of frogs!)
Managing through those bad moments with responding healthy is my struggle. Thank you Leila ❤ it’s so important I love watching you interact with Alex
Thank you for being open and honest, when you see everyone being so f-ing perfect all the time with everything so staged you start wondering "what's wrong with me?" so this is very healing and helpful to see. Blessings.
Fantastic content. So many takeaways! Thank you for a glimpse into what a stressful day looks like for you and how you handle it mentally.
Leila, this video made me smile from ear to ear. In a world where so much content feels like fluff, filtered, and heavily edited, your ability to be honest and vulnerable on camera is incredibly refreshing. It makes you very real and relatable, and I truly appreciate that authenticity. Thank you for sharing your genuine self with us!
THANK YOU for making this. Woke up didn't feel that great and this video made me feel so much better! More people need to see the true side of entrepreneurship and the up and down stays of just being human!
All. Of. This. Thank you, Leila. I didn't know how much I needed this today.
Even more challenging - having a bad day - on your birthday! - when everyone's all cheery and giving you stuff and you need to act happy for them so they don't feel unappreciated!
Love love love the affection! You guys are amazing and I love watching your love for each other, for work, and your appreciation for your employees. You are an amazing person! ❤😊
This is amazing to see Leila! You handled your day really well and you were so present when everything was forcing you to not be present
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I just had a really bad day and crying at night. I love your mission and vision about how you want to build a rewarding working environment. I am an educator and trying to build a business that really makes teachers feel appreciated, fulfilling, seen and rewarded. It is just so hard. Sometimes it made me wonder if this would ever work…but your video gave me hope. Thank YOU!
I watched this on a day I didn't feel like doing anything and it encouraged me to keep going. Thanks for being honest with us and letting us see you on a bad day ❤
Love this, love your videos. You have such a great team. Thanks for doing these videos, Leila, they are really inspirational.
This was awesome! I love this - and it hit a spot that online content rarely ever does. Thank you Leila and team! :)
Thanks for sharing this Leila. You showed me that bad days happen to anyone and we shouldn't take that against anyone
Leila, you are a damn G. I inspire to be like you. Thank you for making this vid as I also have bad days. You make the bad days look easy
Thank you for posting this I really appreciate it, i’m going though hell right now with my business and i really needed this. Thank you, thank you. Today you helped someone in great need. Thank you
Thank you for sharing this because I have days like this and then doubt myself so much and then set a ceiling on my own potential.
Thanks for sharing this!! Love love love the honest content. I’m a new business owner and I feel like shit a LOT. It’s so reassuring to know that doesn’t mean I’m broken.
I really enjoy your content. I like seeing the truth and the ups and downs behind the scenes. This helped me feel better and get back to being productive. Thank you.
This reminds me of the saying "feel the fear and do it anyway" - have a bad day and get through it anyway. 👍❤️🔥💯
Loved seeing this side of you. Makes you more relatable, and as someone who aspires to be a strong business woman, you are also an inspiraiton.
Leila is a shining example for women everywhere. You can be absolute beast boss, but you can simultaneously be serving, supporting, submissive, and loving to your husband. Keep up the good shit! Love you guys!

Um, instead of "submissive" maybe "mutually supportive". Marriage like any relationship is a team and teamwork and I don't see "dominant / submissive" being dynamics that belong in a well functioning team. A dysfunctional one though for sure. I don't mean to pick a fight here just wanting to make that distinction.

You guys are so amazing that doesn't even seem real and that's exactly why you both are needed I'm every way, share and form. Love you guys!
As a new entrepreneur ... your content brings me such solace ... I'm not alone. These feelings that I'm having are legitimate and, sounds weird, ... but that peole survive these feelings & times. You just don't know how much your content means to me. Thank you so much!
I freaking loved and needed this today. Thank you, Leila for simply being you!
This video was so f-ing good! 🎉 More like this please! I feel like that running my business today and I feel way less overwhelmed after watching your all-too-human video. THANK YOU 🙏
Thank you for showing this. It blows when these days happen. But you keep going and always keep it real.
Love you Leila! ❤ Thank you for sharing your life with us!
I will say, it is so comforting to see you as an owner, not knowing how to do everything. As anyone starting a journey in business and can be so scary to think idk how to do something n then not even try, so seeing you do it, being honest and still be okay is so incredible! Thank you ❤️
Leila you look amazing. And you made me stop and think about the bad day impact spoiling another's day.
This is awesome Leila! Thank you for sharing ❤this part of your life with us😊
Nice video Leila - I’m glad the bad day turned out alright in the end - as you say you showed up when it was probably the last thing you needed.
Thank you for this episode ❤ my partner and I are starting a business together and on those days that I am having a bad day, its hard to be nice but it is important to understand that we can’t be selfish and only think about ourselves. I love to see how much you love Alex and that you put yourself boundaries with yourself. You can’t control other people but you can always control what you said and do! I love your videos Leila, I wish you the best and Happy late birthday ❤
Really appreciate the vulnerability and authenticity, Leila! Great watch!
This is so relatable and so human ❤️ thanks for sharing!

Ayo what a video- this is the stuff no one ever gets to see. Thanks Leila!
Its normal for you to feel that way, i feel that way almost daily cause like you, i do difficult stuff, and that means living in constant uncertainty, not knowing how to do some things and all, but at the end, we always figure it out. 🎉
Amazing video. Always respect showing the "real" side. Loved it!
Leila you’re the best. You’re doing an epic job and as you said, it’s something you’ve never done before (especially to this scale!). I’m at an edu publishing company and I don’t even think we could handle what you guys have achieved. Congrats. You got this. Ps the launch was rad - worth the wake up 😊
Loving the transparency and authenticity.
Thank you for being so transparent.

Great video @8:45 you talk about your anxiety in the early days Can you talk more about this and if it still comes in at tines and what you do? ty for sharing the real shit, up and Comers like me need to see that side. 👍🏼 There will be times for me it creeps in and I start negotiating with myself, as an example today I rescheduled a big meeting I set up for myself.
Do not give up on this!!!! Keep going 🎉

Leila this is dope because I can imagine how much work it take to create this. But you still did it. Even if it's a team. This content will be legendary imo. Also, I can relate to you even though you're a woman/wife. It gives me a goal... To not be better as a solooreneur to meet Alex. But you meet you one day as well. Hope you understand that last part...
I love this video and this type of content Leila!!
Thank you for posting this 🙏🔥

Another plus about facing a bad day head-on is it makes us grow and improves our ability, confidence, and capacity to handle the NEXT bad day. Way to eat that frog, Leila! AND show us how it's done! (And in this case a day full of frogs!)
That bigger pockets episode was amazing
WOW you are a BADDASS! I aspire to be like you. When people tell me I can't grow my business or build my conversion camper van on my own I just think I need to cop the Leila attitude and they can kiss my ass and watch me do it! Thank you ssssssssoooooooooo much!
Great vlog leila keep rocking
I felt what y have said. And I would like to work for you and learn
Hey Leila! In the video about what you would do if you were to start a company in 2024 you have talked about the most important skills at each income level. Could you also explain what the best way is to get these skills? Particularly for Offer creation and Marketing. Thanks!
All I can say is THANKS for sharing😊
