King of the Bay for me! I used to talk about Defi all the time and finally went to Gruissan but it's a long drive from this part of Europe, you need all the time off etc. Now that we have KotB, I'm delighted to support it and be ready in case the right conditions kick in :)

I was at King of the Bay, literally the day after the event the wind was 20 knots 😂. Typical windsurfing experience. It is what it is, the event itself was amazing, will definitely attend next year

Unfortunately I didn't notice the race either, I was already on the route. very unfortunate. Next years I'm there too.

was is eigentlich mit den hotelpreisen am gardasee passiert. das is ja absolut verrückt was man da teilweise bezahlt im Juni - August.

Windsurfing makes one mentally strong during long period of time...unless you get crazy from waiting for the wind :) Thx for video, waiting for the wind as well :)

Maybe go to Round of Texel. It's a long distance race around Texel

I was also on kotb gretings from the stange guy from the parking on third day :D they should told everybody to check on the map how far was the starting line i took me 40 min to get there but I did it just on time on a fin and finish it :D thanks for your videos

Da wo Mario ist ist schön… aber wenn es um Windsurfen geht muss es gegenüber fahren zur Ortschaft Jastarnia das ist der Paradies in Europa alles dreht sich ums Windsurfen Shops/ Campingplatze und 3km vom Ufer immer noch Stehrevier!!!!!

@@MarioKuempel that's how I missed a start at the one hour classic. They changed the start time and I was too late. So to be sure I guess you or a friend has to attend to prevent surprises.

Rewa is fine, but next time you come to king of bay, please visit peninsula. In a summer, Chałupy and Jastarnia are winsurfing mekka. Especially Jastarnia with its shallow bay. On a windy warm day it will be like couple hundreds of kiters and windsurfers there. Also don`t miss Kuźnica and of course Hel. BTW. on friday run I overtook you couple times on water. You were aaaangryy! But to be honest, top 30 guys did not complain on anything, they just finished both races in less than 25 minutes.

It's hard to believe that with such an excellent, efficient organisation (usually!) were unable to tell everybody about the Fun Race. They have 1500 emails, tel. numbers, Facebook and whatever else. I am guessing somebody only needed to press a button for 1500 people to receive a message telling us what was happening. Very sad. BUT, I will be going again next year at the age of 72!
