Yes round 504. Back in the day when the free play ramping was negligible and/or nonexistent. Would totally love to see years down the road someone be able to take an old copy before the insane ramping update and mod the game to be able to handle running on higher rounds with less lag

I think there's less chance of the game really messing up with just the base game. Injecting mods into any game can always lead to more instability if the mod isn't done right, so I'd rather use the base game

the main issue with lag on later rounds is hardware. bloons, despite its outwards "funny monkey shoot blimp" appearance, requires insane numbers crunching and mathematics under the hood. thats why your phone can fry an egg when you get to round 300+ freeplay, because not only are the numbers constantly scaling, but theres thousands of bloons hitting even more projectiles. simply "modding the game to reduce lag" isnt enough, because despite computers being really good at outputting complex numbers at high rates, at some point the game will demand too much. again, not a software issue, but a hardware issue.

This is why ISAB is one of my favorite youtubers, BTD 6 is a good game, but it's not anything crazy, but the fact that ISAB uploads insane videos daily and basically never gives up on crazy goals is awesome.

Tewtiy: beats round 999 in sandbox as his biggest achievement. Isab: beats round 999 in a real game and passes it off as an everyday video. Edit: Yall stop arguing, tewtiy sucks. That is all we need to know sheeesh.

Before ppl posted a video abt it, I was hoping to already publish a video abt this exploit after it has been patched, but it seems everyone else caught on it it as well, but hey, at least I have 2 saves, both with 100+ boat paragons already going into the high rounds

Make sure to get Ascended Shadow, Grand Saboteur and a bunch of Bloon Sabotages as well as Absolute Zero, all on tech bots to slow late game DDTs as much as possible!

Doesn't matter. DDTs only show up for a quarter of a frame and then you lose. Look at Mr. Ender's videos on can (tower) beat 10k rounds at once. Most die at the same point.

@@TrevorD19 well first of all that's 10000 rounds of ddts sent at once so towers get pierce capped, they also would all be affected by r10k scaling With enough rng you can theoretically get every ddt on a frame where they get stunned/one shot up until round 10006 where the game will only ever throw 100fbads up until r 2.14m

There is a pretty much set limit of rounds and it is somewhere before 10000. It’s because the blooms start teleporting to the end of the track the frame after they spawn in. They even skip spikes and LotN ability

Skipping spikes already ahpoens at round 500 or so, but Ive never heard of skipping the LotN ability

Amy chance you could now redo your series of "this is what a round 500 bad/ddt/pink ballon/etc looks like" but with round 1000? Could be even better with the new ramping

going back in the menus and turning everything small aswell as minimizing the window size up to the lowest decreases lag by alot when playing for high rounds

Most late game lag comes from calculations and not graphics, so although that would help a bit, I don't see how it would decrease lag by "a lot"

@@spacehead10 it doesn't decrease it significantly, but since btd6 isn't multi-threaded, anything that reduces cpu load helps. Turning off sound also helps

I did this on resort but only put down like 10 boat paragons because of the lag, but did get 2 lvl 100 ninja paragons somehow so that’s cool

I think small towers might also make the planes smaller as well reducing lag

Currently been doing this but with the Portable Lake glitch that lets you place towers on top of each other, using that to get a 100 farm monkeyopolis for 2.5mil per round, then stacking all the paragons in the same place. I'm staying on old patch for a whiile until I get some expert black borders lmao

I totally should have used this as a chance to get a highest round that would be impossible normally like isab. Guess I have to wait for the next bug, but I doubt it’ll ever be enough to get something like this😔

My highest round is 550 (could have gone further, but it didn’t load). That was ages ago though, when the ramping wasn’t as extreme.

I went to r1400 myself, I only covered around half the map due to frame rate issues and didn't use ambush, so that was the point where my defense just lost. Ambush really lags the game due to all the paragons getting a damage target. In terms of raw speed, based on how far DDTs get before getting hooked in, I'd imagine the limit is close to r10k, but it's hard to tell if it's more or less. r10k itself may be extremely hard due to no blimps. I don't know how many BADs appear per round so I have no idea if the paragons run out of procs before then.

My record is round 2263. This was done about 3 years ago on a daily advanced challenge with very weak and slow MOABs.

Don't forget that you can put paragons on top of the Bucc paragon, so you can put a Ninja paragon on top to slow all the bloons and not take up space used for something else

You should have used pool stacking for the farms, managed to create a monkeyopolis that generates well over a million dollars per round. Also, I wish you didn’t get an insta every 100 rounds… only thing preventing it from being fully AFKable

I use the paragon platforms to stack more paragons on them

I wonder if it'd be possible to mod in a toggle to disable all projectile animations in order to cut back on lag on these higher rounds. Or heck, just disable rendering of everything except the menus. That'd probably increase performance significantly, although the downside would be you couldn't actually see anything.

The rendering isn’t really the issue here, it’s the immense amount of calculations for what projectile should interact with what bloon and how that bloon should react

@@chillie4396 No, it is the issue. Sorta. My game is paused and planes cause 30 FPS and I normally get around 500-1000 FPS.

They is another glitch were if you stack 30 portable lakes ontop of eachother you can stack towers ontop of eachother so a 100+ monkeyopalis is possible aswell as super efficient techbot placement. Edit: commented this before 7:52 kekw

I remember when the game first came out and I got round 536

I couldn’t even beat round 200 with all paragons but engineer and boat, all degree 80.
