I Got to RIP This CR250 And Turned a PROFIT! 2002 Honda CR250 Dirtbike Flip
Спорт
I drove up to Shelby, Montana after work one day to pick up this 2002 Honda CR250R for $2500. The dirtbike market is crazy right now, and I knew this bike would sell for at least $1000 more! I installed a new top end, rejetted the carb, and did some other minor work to get the bike dialed. After ripping it on some sweet Montana singletrack with my buddy Tilden, I sold the bike the next day. This one was a quick and easy flip, and I'm stoked I got to get out and let her scream! Thanks to everyone who watches my videos; I truly appreciate your interest! Leave a comment below with your thoughts on this flip!

Nice work keep up the totally addictive content 👊✊👊✊💪
Love the registration sticker swap lol
Brilliant videos mate! Love watching you strip and bring them awesome machines back to life! I wish I had the skill you have both in maintaining and then riding afterwards! It's great seeing you take the bikes out when you've done a rebuild and put them through they're paces and clearly enjoying the ride! I need a lot more practice I think lol keep them coming! great channel! 🏍️🏍️🏍️

Thanks so much Keith!
Love these style of videos
Great video really enjoyed it 👌🏼👌🏼
This is one of the cleanest Honda 250s I’ve ever seen! Keep up the good videos
Clean bike. Should have scooped up all the CRs I saw for $2000 a few years ago haha.
Watching all the way here in the philippines.loving your videos!
Blessed pal love the video format maybe just need to be a little more technical but overall love it pal
Very good...bro
love this bro… just wanna ask what did you use to clean the plastics? was it just soap and water or was there something more?
What do you spray on the pipe after washing? I've heard WD40, but a spray bottle would be easier!
Cool video!! I had a 96 CR 250 and I miss that bike a lot. Would love to find one in this vintage range. What’s the best year for a CR 250?

A lot of people drool of the 01 CR250, I don’t know exactly what makes it so special but it is definitely the most desirable
Like these flip builds there a great format have subbed. Amazing the prices in the states are cheap here in Australia a 02 CR250 be $5-7k.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah that's wild bikes are so much in Australia!
What products did you use at the end to shine everything up?
I like it Pretty cool!! Love the bike I have one just like it People trash talk them all the time but mine works great lots of fun!

Who trash talks the CR250? I'd like a word...
Quick question for you. Is it OK. To turn off the petcock and run a 2stroke out of gas since the oil in the gas is what's lubricating it.... I do this on my 4strokes but this was something I'm having trouble finding a good answer on like say since that oil in the gas is what's lubricating it. Is that OK instead of turning it off and draining the carb, just letting it idle out of gas after turning off the petcock?

I have always done it with no ill effects. I think running out of gas while riding isn't great because it can lack lubrication at very high RPMs, but letting it idle to empty shouldn't cause any problems to my knowledge.
dude i wanna know what kind of cleaner is in that blue can. everything you sprayed cleaned up nicely

Do you have a timestamp?
The gasket system on the headers for that year is horrible. Replaced mine with a pro circuit flange that doesn’t leak at all.
I would never sold that bike...just made her like new, aworks pro circuit on ...because that one on the bike was full of oil in and muffler to... And it would be a star of the rebuilds.
i dont know what the stock needle jet are but on my 2001 it has a s9 and its to rich so bought a s7 and it runs alot better thru out the rev range
You scored a good one there with not much work to be done!! Bikes are bringing crazy money ATM in Australia and if you don't buy them quick they are gone. I do bikes and other gear up on my own KZread channel so I'm always looking for bikes. Luckily I have a few bikes in the shed that I haven't started on yet so I can keep the channel going. Anyway great content and I Subscribed. Cheers Rick MTR

Yep it's a crazy market here in the states right now as well! I have a lot of projects stacked up as well - have gotten more bikes even since this video was made... And another CR250! Always hustling!

@@KincadePavich I think the 2 stoke market everywhere is madness. Here in Ireland that cr would be up for sale about 4500 euro. Which converts to 5300 dollars.
Which front fender and number plate did you use for the restyle?

I don't remember off the top of my head, but Pryme MX offers CR restyle front ends I know
Beat it off 👀

Damn I wish wisconsin would pull there heads out of there asses and let us ride the state trails to
Lol tilden. Honestly my 450 can suck it, 2 strokes for life! Cr was minty once the bars were fixed.

Tradesies? 😜
I got a YZ80 lol
380 main, 30 pilot, seems to be to tight for a 250
I buy bikes in australia and flip them here in the philippines.bikes are cheap in australia.loving your contents and your mechanical skills!haha!
2 stokes have expansion chambers not header pipes.
