My channel generally focuses on a more casual side of speedruns. With these videos I want to show off cool speedruns, explain how they work, and entertain. Hopefully you enjoy the content and maybe even take up speedrunning yourself, because it is truly a lot of fun!
About Goat Simulator (from Steam):
Goat Simulator is the latest in goat simulation technology, bringing next-gen goat simulation to YOU. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! WASD to write history.
Gameplay-wise, Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, you're a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff. Destroy things with style, such as doing a backflip while headbutting a bucket through a window, and you'll earn even more points! Or you could just give Steam Workshop a spin and create your own goats, levels, missions, and more! When it comes to goats, not even the sky is the limit, as you can probably just bug through it and crash the game.

Goat Simulator is a completely stupid game and, to be honest, you should probably spend your money on something else, such as a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat.

On the one hand, the video addresses Goat Simulator's poor physics engine. On the other hand, it's purposefully designed with that poor physics engine to make it as funny as possible.

i played it on mobile a lot when i was younger, i loved ragdolling and activating evil goat's power because it would just send you flying uncontrollably in the silliest way

It’s the simple things, such as how the time of the successful speedrun was way lower than the time it took to get that attempt (3:29), that makes these speedruns have so much charm.

Goat simulator is seriously one of the funniest games out there. Whenever I'm having a bad day or I'm sad, I'll watch a speed run of goat simulator to cheer me up. The people who made the game are genius. They embrace the silliness of it all.

what a goated run
It's a fantastic concept, running around as a goat causing mutual chaos for everyone who witnesses. But it's the controlled brokenness of the goat that sets it apart, nothing seems Intentional, yet it all is

Amazing!! This game is gonna forever be a cult classic for generations. I like how the game that was deliberately designed for the silliest kicks has actually generated a serious speedrun that requires intelligent route-running and understanding of (what little) physics there are in the game.

Looking at the times, it’s not that perfected. The second and third places are five seconds apart.

Congrats for the world record! I love Goat Simulator, they made this game silly and broken. But ended up being a quite solid game, less broken than games in 2020~2021 xD

The reason this feels *not broken* is because it's made to be intentionally broken. The goofy physics n stuff are all specific design choices from the devs so it comes across really well.

Not only the first sub 3:30, that was the first sub 3:40. You shaved over 10 seconds off of a speedrun that doesn't even last 4 minutes. Absolute madlad.

cool thought but u have to consider old games and consoles that have died out over the years, i mean like old n64 games and even some corrupted or bugged pc games
