Great video man, I too agree the settle nostalgia and minor attentions to detail is what made MGS what it is today!

Metal gear video? Subbed! Very much enjoyed. Would love to see a casual metal gear series whole playthough at some point if you were up for that. I feel like this series has a lot to give. MGS3 is definitely in my top 5 games. With skyrim LA Noire Fallout 4 & Red Dead 2 being on that list, too. Great work i watched the whole video in one sitting 😂 Big love from the UK 🇬🇧

Thank you for watching, so glad you enjoyed it!! You have great taste in games! I definitely will consider doing casual play throughs at some point! For now I plan on just doing more Trophy Hunting videos with more Metal Gear games being done in the near future! Also watching this video in one sitting is impressive! Definitely a long one, which I’m not sure I’ll do one this long again for a while lol. Took a lot out of me, might do more series as one game per video! Thoroughly enjoyed this video from beginning to end. I know you don’t think it turned out great, but regardless of room for improvement i definitely would love more metal gear videos(or even videos on other series) whether or not it’s about trophies. I think challenge runs could potentially be cool too.

@@parrisdeluxe Glad you, enjoyed it! I don’t know if you’ve seen my newest video on the Dead Rising 1 platinum, but my next will be on Dead Rising 2: OTR. Then Dead Rising: Deluxe Remaster in end of September or early October! I might squeeze in a non Dead Rising video before that one though. Trust me though, there will be more Metal Gear videos in the future! Along with other variety of games. I’m finding it fun to go through some of my favorite games for now, but at some point I’ll definitely have Trophy Hunting videos on new games that I’ve never played before! However, I do agree challenge runs could be potentially cool! So I will definitely put that on the list of kinds of videos to do in the future!

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet(or maybe you find out later in the video, I’m only halfway through) but the reason the guard only took one tranq and was out immediately at 22:38 is because you shot him in the balls, which works because this is a hideo kojima game

Just imagine that you had to place 1st in all 500 VR\Alternate Missions and Collect the Dog Tags on European Extreme

I platinumed mgs4 and was never able to platinum any of the others besides peacewalker so it really shouldn't be that difficult. Tedious sure

@@tasteofowl it will definitely take a lot of time to plat peacewalker but it's easy. Just make sure you look up the hidden necessities online. Mgs4 is the opposite. Hard but once you're used to it the plat is a breeze and pretty fast I hope they bring back co-op in peacewalker. The boss fights are way more fun that way and there are even co-op items and weapons

@@aroccoification hopefully my experience turns out the same! They definitely need to keep multiplayer! I’ve only played through peace walker once, single player only! So would love to play multiplayer!

Well done on this Feat! now for master collection 2! I also got platinum for master collection, and MGS 2 was for me stupidly hard, if it had an extra save or 2 it may have been a little easier! So far Im 9/9 on all metal gear games and their platinum trophies. :)

Thank you, very much! I 100% agree - MGS2 is stupidly difficult all because of the save limit, being able to save even 10 times would have made it much easier. Congratulations though!! I’m now missing MGS4, Peace Walker, and Rising as of now! Hoping they all get included in VOL 2 and you best believe I’ll be back with a new video platting them! Whenever that time comes you can compare your experience to mine lol! Looks like Delta will be next though!

I would say that you did a great job, as a trophy hunter I am currently doing the Metal Gear Solid series and the only one's I am nervous about are Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4. Any advice would be good, in the mean time keep up the great work.

But yeah Metal Gear Solid 2 should have you nervous unfortunately, the Big Boss run is just ridiculously difficult. Although it’s doable, my bets advice is for you to use a guide for when to best save. Besides the Big Boss rank though, the platinum is just time consuming - just keep up persistence and you can do it! Good luck!

I remember this being my third time getting the plat in 2 and 3, as they had trophies on psp and ps3. I wont ask to inflict Peace Walker on you on ps3... it will take years off your life

Who knows when that’ll come though, but when it does I think I’ll make each game a separate video. Just so I can spend more time on each game!

@tasteofowl for sure! Give you time to prep. I'm a glutton for punishment and MGS would be my number 1 franchise. Hence the every game platinum thing. I wouldn't recommend revisitng the ps3 trophies unless you want those 1 or 2 different trophies like all dogs tags etc 🫠

I’m currently doing Dead Rising 2: Off the Record plat for my next video and I’m 72% complete at the moment, but it’s causing me some problems. After I do this one I think it’s time to do an easier platinum lol.

I would say a pretty good video other than the intro being to long.I give this video 8.7/10 little improvement to be made.You should be more than excited about this score. But I would also like to add yappin and cap are so 2022 don’t you think?

I’m really confused about the 25 hours of VR missions. It took me 3 hours and should take about that long. What went wrong?

@@Tomweldonsays I might have exaggerated a hair, but what happened was at launch - the VR missions trophy didn’t work if you did it on integral or normal US copy. So I ended up doing nearly all of them before finding that out, on the integral version. I didn’t mention it in the video because I felt it was dragging as it was. However, even with that all being said - in hindsight it probably took me closer to 20 hours. I consider myself a Metal Gear Veteran, but man I was struggling on a majority of them. I’ll blame it on no analog support lol. That all being said, I could never do them in 3 hours! I commend you for that!

You should platinum the Naked Snake (and Venom) games, if you can since its not as easy to get PW these days

Unfortunately I did the Venom Snake game (mgsv) platinum back in 2018, but once Vol 2 comes I’ll do it again and every other game in that collection! I actually just finished Dead Rising 1’s platinum - so that’ll be my next video! Should be a fun one but a shorter video!

I don’t blame you! TPP is a long one, I actually did the 100% twice, first on Xbox One back at launch. Then for platinum on PS4 a couple years later and if it has a new trophy list for Vol 2. I’ll be doing it all over again. However, it really is a tough one. I’d suggest you go back for it, but man the mission tasks are stupidly tedious at times.

You can unlock ghe infinity face paint by getting foxhound, too. If you didnt get foxhound you wouldn't have gotten it.

@@tasteofowl yup, I'm pretty sure the tsuchinoko option is intended for people who are playing on difficulties too low for a high enough rank to unlock it but it's so much more convenient that everyone does it instead

@@cordeliafrey9950 that makes a lot of sense! I knew that you could get the stealth by either 0 alerts OR getting all 64 Kerotans. So there also being 2 ways to get the infinity face paint seems obvious now! Thank you for taking the time to explain it - should be helpful for Delta!

HAAAA Americans having issue with EE I was playing that shit on day 1 (2) on the OG MGS2 before substance, before the HD nerfed it even more.

I can't play the Japanese version of MGS 1. I got it for Christmas played in January and get the language packs. I hate it.

Yeah these big boss runs are cancer. Literally the only 2 trophies I’m missing is BB runs for 2 and 3

You REALLY shouldn't include those controller sounds. Incredibly distracting and annoying. Use a proper mic to record reactions. But hat's off. MGS2 isn't easy to Plat.
