I think what's happening with the pets is that for the vial you get a max of 50% chance to get a bonus pet and the feather gets you a 50% chance of a bonus pet. They don't add up to 100%, they are 2 separate 50% chances totaling up to a chance to get 3 pets. I've also seen you get three pets at once a few times before

I love the synergy between stats, when one stat also equates to other stat, which in turn equates to another, which in case it equates to another one until you have an all around busted character

I've watched the whole series, and bought the game last night. It's fun and the content is good! It's just Dex being Dex in a different game (huge ball memes abound)

Maybe the way the items work is they each have some percent chance to spawn an extra. So the 2x25% rolls twice (or once for 50%) while the other item also rolls separately for a bonus pet. When both are a success you get 2 extra.

Seems like the knockback to frequency item does not work with the knockback converted from resistance, you can see this at around 24:30 your frequency is 273%, then after taking telescope it becomes 293%, +20% from knockback, but it should be +30% since it also gives 10% res which is 10% knockback. Could be intented, or could be a bug.

The items that increase chance to get extra pets are independent, so they each give you a 50% chance to get an extra pet meaning: 25% chance to get no extra pets 50% chance to get 1 extra pets 25% chance to get 2 extra pets

Where does the crop growth speed bonus on harvesting crops come from? Is this another meta-progression upgrade like apples giving more exp received?

The pets, especially the pick up one, definitely needs a hard boost. Unless they're based off of the player stats like pick up range and movement speed, which means you've been literally shooting yourself on the foot the entire time.

I don't know if it got changed Dex, but there's a key to change which crop you and your pets sow, in case you wanna prioritize one in paeticular.

I think that the 50% and the two 25% aren't added together for the pets, meaning that you flip two coins for extra pets every time.

Is it possible that the 2 items that give chance for extra pet are working separately? Like, one gives you 50%, the other gives 50%, but instead of giving a total of 100% for a second pet, you get 50% two times for extra pets, resulting in 3 pets sometimes I don’t know if it’s supposed to work like this, but it looks like that’s what’s happening 🤷‍♀️

bro pls unless youre doing a crit build, forgot every single crit+ trinket, theyre useless when u have -15% crit chance

Don't forget that weapons have their own crit chances, increased by the level ups. But that's not the reason I took most of them

He does, at least he did in the past and saved me when I was running away on low HP.

I kind of wonder if you can get enough attack frequency and duration if you could have more than 1 water beam or wacker going off at once... have them stack up on top of each other

I don't think so because the next attack starts after the old one is done, at least that's what it looked like to me. In other words it requires to completely finish to start the cooldown. For the wacker it kind of happens but not because of a new attack, instead with enough amount and projectile speed they start overlapping, but not in an additive way. If you got 8 amount, you will have 8 of them. If it takes 4 "spawns" of them to cycle around once, then you will have a layer of 2 of them, which is...technically not different from them just being spaced out.

i think the 25% and 50% double pet don't work in connection .. it's not that you might 100% get double pet, but you might get 2 of 50% chance to get additional pet, so if you get 3 pet, it mean you get 2 of that 50% chance ..

Then you should sometimes get 3 pets, but that never happened.
