wow, thanks for sharing, that is disgraceful how you have been treated. If you had been mugged on the street and someone taken 50 euros off you next to the police station, something would of been done about it ! Just because this guy is hiding behind the internet, he gets to steal that amount of money from you !! Lets hope there is some instant karma coming his way.

American and NATO satellites from 240 to 270 MHz have been used in RX for more than 20 years. They are mostly old satellites no longer used and abandoned but still with active transponders. The main users are Brazilian truck drivers and manufacturers of drugs in the forests, then there are Russian civilians and also a small group of Italians scattered outside the territory who keep in contact with the state, all kinds of conversations were heard, such as the old CB at 27 Mhz, women, children, people who transmits images in SSTV, digital communications DMR unencrypted etc, now all you need is a cheap Chinese radio and software to unlock it, even portable, a military radio was essential 20 years ago now no longer, it is just more robust, expensive and heavy, and fascinating, it must resist certain characteristics, but now with 100 dollars you can access any frequency even in TX, it is not illegal to hold it, it is illegal to transmit on certain frequencies, even if you have an amateur radio license because you are outside the assigned band.

Insane to see scammers will even do niche products as military radios or aircraft instruments.

Scammers are so bloody greedy they'll say and do anything for a quick buck.

Those military radio Facebook groups are full of scammers! I always ask for more photos to make sure the person physically has them. It's just to easy to copy photos from other sites. Many times I've asked them to send me a photo of spoon on top of the radio . Most of the times they never do or sometimes a really bad photoshop!

The rule my forum has for sale is that you need a physical piece of paper with your username, date and time written on it. otherwise the sales post is rejected out of hand by one of the mods. its a good system, but still get the odd scammer who still takes the money and tries to run sadly. some people just cant help themselves.

for your information, those picture are taken from eBay. Rule of thumb.... never ever buy stuff from Facebook or other social media sites. Never pay "Friends and family" thru PayPal... lessons learned....

You earned a subscriber, so all this is not in vain. You are not stupid. The system is stupid and operating in its comfort zone. You are just a normal person and thats what matters. Good luck.

It’s sad that paypal wouldn’t even consider doing something to protect other future victims from this guy. They truly don’t care. Sorry this happened to you. It could have been any of us.

We all should apply due diligence before parting money for anything that sounds too good to be true.

Facebook has its own payment thing & PayPal not used for selling there. Sounds like a scammer in India as they do to many all over the world.

The sound level is so low that I couldn't follow the story.

i got a gut feeling that you did this to yourslf. If you would only minded of your damn bussines and wait Something is telling me that you did alot of wrong in between and still carry on doing it. nevermind ..... 2.5k military grade radio.. for 500:)) that sounds like a stolen good allready. i woulnd be so not suspicious and avoid asking the real questions. Never use friends and family as a payment option unless the value is small or you can afford to lose the money
