Ойындар

Woman Grandmaster Dina Belenkaya was randomly paired against a 12 year old student of GM Olexandr Bortnyk in a FIDE rated Blitz tournament. This was an official game therefore no trash talk will be present this time.
Let us know in the comments down below if you actually prefer when Dina is quiet and serious!

He didn’t strike me as nervous until he was talking with her at the end (I don’t blame him for that at all). She was concentrating hard while he was pushing around pieces quickly and staring around at times. Her focus won in the end but he played almost as well.

@@tonyhawk123Dina can be savage with her trash talking when she wants to be. I mean that as a compliment. She was on Coffee Chess recently and some thin skinned people were in the comments about her trash talking. Those comments disappointed me. Trash talking is part of the fun of Coffee Chess! She fits right in and is so entertaining! But it's also refreshing to see the nice side of her like in this video. We're lucky to live in an era where there are so many outstanding chess KZreadrs!

  • @tonyhawk123

@@TheRuns2 I agree completely. Life would be boring if everyone worried constantly about "offending" people, as if we're obligated to protect people from feeling offended. It's a construct in their own heads, and people can claim to be offended by anything, so I'm hopeful that Dina never panders to this. Yes Dina on Coffee Chess was fun. It's probably the first time I've seen Boston Mike get nervous. A sight to behold! Mike is another good example incidentally - a little barbed but all in good fun. Jan Gustafsson used to do a good moody persona as a break from his normal nice side too. And Naka has picked up the mantle too, he's done a couple of streams where he is full on cranky. Not as funny as Jan and Dina but props for trying.
