I GOT MY DREAM MOTORCYCLE in Jakarta Indonesia 🇮🇩
In today’s episode I’m back in Jakarta for a BIG SURPRISE. As I’m almost ready to go to Kalimantan with my KTM 390 Adventure, I get a call from KTM Indonesia. They have decided to make me their brand ambassador in Indonesia, and invites me to their showroom in Depok.
Upon arrival they tell me I can choose any motorcycle I want, for my Kalimantan trip.

Hey you finally arrived at Pontianak city, my home town of course. Welcome to Pontianak Kris. This city has a lot to offer like culinary, adventure, and culture as well. Man you should visit Mujahidin mosque, one of the biggest mosque in Pontianak, plus try visit the landmark of Pontianak city, that is equator monument. Also visit Kapuas river, one of the longest river on Pontianak city. And try some of Pontianak food like spicy porridge, kue bingke, and Many more. Awesome!! You made the right choice, although that Husqy looks pretty sweet. The 790 Adventure R is an amazing bike and you really equipped it nicely. How do you think the weight difference will be with off-road riding for you? I'm sure the extra power will be nice. This makes me miss my KTM 950 Adventure bike. This next leg of the adventure is already looking to be epic. Excited for you and looking forward to seeing all the places you will go. TTDJ!
Good luck on your journey my friend. One of my favorite route in Indonesia is between city of Balikpapan to Samarinda through Bukit Suharto (if I'm not mistaken the name). A twisty road inside an old forest. Beautiful. And end up finishing crossing Mahakam river. It's like a satisfying finish line when you crossed the bridge. Satisfaction guarantee. Don't forget to say "Bismillah" 😝✌

When you said you gonna take trip to Kalimantan, I just remembered of the viral meme that shows place in East Kalimantan called "Bukit Kelam". The meme talked about the comparation of Indonesia and Konoha village (the village in Japanese Anime "Naruto Shippuden"). And also don't forget to meet Andrew Kalaweit in Central Kalimantan. He and his family live in the middle of the junggle. His father is an expatriate from France, and his mother is an Indonesian.

By taking out Cat Converter from your bike, basically your exhaust are emitting harmful gasses to the environment. I thought you are a nature and environment lover?

I sure am! 😊 so when I read your comment I texted Rendy, and he replied: “Oh of couse, when i replace the Catalytic, i change it with pipe and i add the filter inside the muffler. Dont worry bro, the filter that i add can reduce a little CO for the environments because the material used is glasswoll. Same like catalic, but the OeM catalic is made according to International Standard emissions in europe. When you use racing exhaust, it means you will no longer follow the international standard. But yours is not racing exhaust “ I hope this answers your concern. Plus I’m always using either Pertamax turbo or Max, which has higher Ron and higher Ron fuel consumes 3-4 percent less gasoline, than lower Ron gasoline. This is what I can do, until It’s possible to do touring in Indonesia with electric bike 😊
