BADAU - SOLO OFF ROAD Journey in Palm Oil Field (Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan)

In today's episode I set off from Semitau in Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan, on a Solo off road journey. I ride +100km alone through a palm oil field to get to Badau, the border city between Indonesia and Malaysia.
The locals told me it would take 3 hours, but it ended up taking me much longer! On the way I talk to the palm oil field workers about their life in the palm oil plantation, and I met the lovely Elfie, the first Albino I've ever seen in Indonesia.
Upon arrival in Badau, I go to Nanga Badau Border Post, where I cross into Malaysia for the first time!

Perjalanan yang kerennn broo.. Ga ngerti lagi capeknya kaya gimana. Saya dulu juga pernah riding jauh, dari Malang ke Bali, balik ke Malang lagi dan lanjut ke Jakarta via Wonosobo, Banjar, Garut, sampai Jakarta. Walaupun perjalanan saya ga sejauh perjalanan mu, itu aja capeknya udh luar biasa mengingat trek yang panjang, panas, hujan, dll. Belum lagi saya bawa tas carrier yang beratnya kurang lebih 20 kg. Sepanjang perjalanan ga lupa untuk dzikir, ingat setiap detiknya mungkin bisa terjadi hal yang tidak diinginkan. Alhamdulillah saya selamat sampai tujuan. Banyak sekali pelajaran yg saya dapatkan dari perjalanan tersebut, dan itu adalah pengalaman yang ga akan pernah saya lupakan. You are so lucky Kriss. Saya selalu nunggu video terbarunya karna video mu cukup membuat saya nostalgia pada masa saya riding dulu. Semoga selamat di mana pun kamu berada Kriss.. ✌✌✌✌

Hutannya hijau tapu tetap panas, apalagi jika sudah jadi Ibukota..mungkin makin panas..saya tinggal di sana. 2 tahun masya Allah..panasss...listrik nyalam malam baja 6-12 malam, kalau panas 38 derajat cuma. Ngesot di lantai

Disana sebenarnya ada Pulau Majang dimana masyarakatnya tinggal di pinggiran danau Sentarum rumahnya diatas air tetapi bisa kering ketika musim kemarau. Jika Kristian kerja dengan google maps, ini akan menambah foto di google street di Kalimantan Barat khususnya jalan sawit yang tidak dilakukan google maps selama ini. Dan kita bisa tahu dengan maps jalan2 kecil non aspal daerah Kalimantan Barat sampai tembus ke jalan aspal. Saya sebagai orang Kalimantan Barat belum pernah melakukan offroad daerah2 yang ada di Kalimantan Barat kecuali daerah saya di Sambas. Sukses dude

A question Kris Did you use different settings in color grading? I think it has less saturation if compared to your past episodes in Lampung until North Sumatera. Just my opinion 😁 Anyway, as I thought last week, this episode is very satisfying 🔥🔥🔥 Touring not only about drive through long road and enjoy the trip, but also for challenging our fear. Good job 🔥🔥👏👏 And I also feel sorry about your GoPro. Soon you can replace the mount from top case to top/side rack with clamp, or place it like Turangga's flag pole. It would be better than adhesive pads

@@KristianHansen First, I'm not an expert in video editing🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But in my personal opinion as a viewer, I like the old settings because it's more eye-catching. But nothing bad with new settings, it makes more cinematic and natural than the old one. Just keep it in 24 FPS and it will be perfect. So, go ahead with new settings 😁🙏
