Very nice to find this video, finally a Dutch who respects and loves our culture. I'am Dutch like Janine and life in Bali since 1995. I married to a Balinese in 1992 and became a hindu that same year. I learned a lot true the many years I'am living her on this beautiful island and feel so blessed to be one of them.

Balinese women are strong women, if you come to Bali around the 70s you can still see some Balinese women doing jobs that are usually done by men (carriers, builders etc.), I really salute Balinese women , Enjoy your life while in Bali and don't forget to always take care of your own health and safety 😁

Balinese women are strong, aren't they...bringing something for the ceremony which is hard on the head...an interesting presentation... Jenine, you are very beautiful wearing traditional Balinese clothes...saranghe..

Orang luar begitu menghargai & menghormati, bahkan ingin belajar budaya/ tradisi Bali, Beda dgn yg sesama WNI, kada budaya lain dikatain hal² buruk & menyamakannya dgn kebiasaan "negatif" dilingkungannya, padahal itu beda jauhh.

I really love Balinese traditional ceremony, it's so colorful as well as their beautiful women's outfit. The traditional Balinese has a similarities with Sundanese traditions. Unfortunately the Sundanese traditional events in my homelands pasundan or parahyangan has been eradicated and almost extinct. And often being interfered by mainstream cultures.
