Would like to help you with tree identification but need closeups of the bark and leaves. The first tree looked as if it might be a hackberry and the second looked like it may have been a hickory. I sure appreciate when the you-tubers identify the trees they are cutting. It might be a help to someone else who wants to remove less desirable trees from their property, but end up cutting valuable trees instead. We have more diversity here in the Ozarks than what I realized 10 yrs ago. Thought that all we had were oaks, hickories, and walnuts, but that is not the case at all. Be careful out there. Like watching your videos.

Thanks for offer to help identify trees. I may take you up on it in the future. We did have a Certified Forester walk our property and identify trees that should be thinned. This was needed because some were dying prematurely because of crowding and lacked nutrients. You are correct, I need to be careful-many ways to get injured. Thanks for watching. Larry

Another channel i watch (moneypit homestead) showed us a free app on their phone that they can take a picture of the leaves or bark and it will identfy the tree. Sorry i cant remember the name if rhe app. Ill try to find and let ya know. Be safe randy

Identifying trees can be difficult and a good app would help. I tried one months ago, I don’t remember its name, but it wasn’t very accurate. I’m definitely open to trying one again.

Be careful, that was a great video! I want one of those chainsaws. Love all your toys!
