I hope you got your money back after buying and playing this, lmao. This "thing" (I hesitate to even call it a video game) is so bad that, fun fact, Steam gave me a full refund after I bought it when it was announced all those years ago. Yes, I alpha/beta tested this. Yes, I actually played this SERIOUSLY and talked to the devs. Yes, it's that bad that despite having way more than the two hours cap for Steam's refund policy, they still refunded the game. For its time tho, it did have some things going for it. The draw distance for details like grass was actually SUPER impressive for its time (and fields looked really good), plus the fact it had support for 24 or 25 vehicles in a race (back when most games struggled to handle 8). I actually had a few amazing 16-18-player online derbies, but thats as far as I'm gonna praise this thing lmao. Please seek therapy, Dustin, there's no way you didn't get PTSD downloading this.

How does what I'm interested in always find a way into your content? Recently got into Payday 2 and noticed the music immediately. Also, I feel so sorry for you for playing this game, let alone 100% completing it.

So many good memories in flatout 2! This does explain why I never saw anything on the series afterwards.

For some reason, i still unironically love my copy of team 6's "Speed". It's one of the games i used to play the most on my wii as a kid, and if you get past the bad graphics, motion controls, cringe-tastic crashes, and the absolutely horrendous soundtrack (that is forever stuck in my head btw), you can get a bit of fun out of it (which is not the case for flatout 3)

In older versions of the game, the train would destroy cars in one hit the moment one touched it but later it got changed to not instakill, the trained achievement is a leftover from that. Also Justin Case's coat didn't stretch in some previous versions

I ever done this before. Glad that FLATOUT 3 still way more playable than NASCAR 21 IGNITION.

10:53 this has been bugging me for ages. What is the track in the background called? I swear it's from yakuza 0 but I have no clue what the track name has been called.

So since you mentioned there's a lot of "variety" in this game, there's a reason for it and it ties into what you said about Team 6 developing a truckload of shovelware games. The whole game is an asset flip from their previous 7 or so racing titles on the Wii, if you look at their older racing titles you will recognize a whole bunch of vehicles used in this game. This is also why there are so many mismatched elements, weird bugs and nonsensical combinations of things and why none of it works as it should - it's a jumble of assets from multiple bad games frankensteined into the ultimate racing shovelware title of all times.

The sewer track reminds me of a track from a Wii shovel ware monster truck racing game called monster trucks mayhem. I remember it being fun and not that all bad
