Aw, man. You skipped the part where his mom came in for that sweet maternal bedside chat and mentioned how she thinks about going to the local tavern and getting railed by all the peasants. Good times, good times.

“I probably shouldn’t have done that” - Lestat most of the time, but does it anyway 😂

Lestat would LOVE the way you described "Armand wouldnt let him [Lestat] drink any of his blood, he's being an ASSHOLE about it" lmaooooo

I absolutely love Lestat. After seeing the first movie, I had to buy the books, I was so in love with the story. I loved this character immediately, And Lestat was awesome when it came to looking after his people. His friendship with Nikki, awesome, Lestat, the wolf killer....... damn, and medieval weapons, mace, sword, gun, damn, what a cool dude.

I've gotta tell you. Last night, as I was going asleep, the words 'vampire jerky' and the image of two people in a coffin popped into my head and I was like where the hell did that come from. I haven't read or watched any vampire stories recently. I wasn't able to go to sleep until I remembered it was from drunk classics. 🤣🤣🤣

Out of all of Rice's vampires, Claudia was always my favorite. In real life, Rice had a daughter who died at a young age before she started writing novels. As for the music that Lestat hears, it's goth rock, of course. The 1980s was its golden era.

Lestat takes vampirism pretty well, until one gets to Tale of the Body Thief. Excellent reviews, though, well-presented--thank you!

There have been times in my life where, if taking a long extended nap had been a reasonable option choice, I would most definitely have picked that. Reason number five on my list of reasons to be a vampire. Long , extended naps. 😊

This was one of the best drunk classics yet! Your editing in this was 🤌🤌🤌The Keebler tree sent me! I cannot wait for Queen of the Damned! As for other books in the series, I remember loving Armand and Marius' books. Armand is book 6, I think and I can't remember where Marius' falls in the series. I know I loved them because I loved Armand and Marius lol.

Armand has always been my favourite. I just wish productions would cast him properly. It’s always wrong.

"But why, Lestat? “ he asked a little suspiciously. "Why the danger, the risk? After all, you have done it. You have come back. You’re stronger than ever. You have the old fire as if it had never been lost, and you know how precious this is, this will simply to go on. Why risk it immediately? Have you forgotten what it was like when we had the world all around us, and no one could hurt us except ourselves? ”

"This is questionable at best." Something I can say about every (8) Anne Rice book I've read so far.

This was fun, reminds me first time I read this book, I thought there was a shitload more to Lestat than in interview with the vampire, loved the book totally, I laughed at his misadventures, laughed at the image of him sitting on top of the carriage laughing at what he sees, with his new found senses..... damn, was so fun.

Oh, I love Marius, and Mael as well, that druid, And Armand was Maruis's ward as well, but still Armand was dying from a sword wound when Marius turned him...... Oh, I gotta say, what a world Anne Rice created..... damn......
