I got an Epiphone Firebird, and it’s F***ing amazing
I picked up a 2022 Epiphone Firebird from Sweetwater last week, and it might just be one of my favorite guitars.
Жүктеу.....

I have two of these Epiphone Firebird guitars. Great gigging guitar. Best 600$ guitar ever made, in my humble opinion.

Super guitars. I was stunned at how good mine looked when I unboxed it. I couldn't find any flaws on it. One thing that I love about the Firebird is how light they are considering their size. I like the vintage spec Alnico pups in my Epiphone better than the hotter ceramic ones in my 2013 Gibson Firebird.

Mine comes in at just over 7lbs. Something this big shouldn’t weigh 7lbs

I've heard so many rave reviews about this model, I have to get one. I got a couple Lollar Firebird pickups in a Shijie telecaster, which sound great, so now I want the full bird...!

Great review, Alex. I bought one about 2 months ago and I couldn't agree with you more. Although a Fender guy- I have a USA Tele and Rosewood Strat- I've loved the look of the Firebird since I saw Johnny Winter and Allen Collins playing one. It's definitely a looooooooong guitar. LOL, and it has a beautiful finish. I had my local guitar shop set mine up after playing it for a few weeks. Just putting 9 gauge strings, lowering the action, and softening the sharp edges of the nut made it play like a dream. It's a great guitar for the price. If you're thinking of getting one, you won't be sorry. Cheers.

Excellent take on this guitar! I'm thinkin' about pulling the trigger on one. 'Birds look opulent, like a Duesenberg Classic car, but boy can they wail like a rustbucket. 🎸 ☮

For $549.00, or twice as much, it is effing amazing and the pickups are unbeatable. I would disagree that it is all that long. Perfect for what it is. Do Zzounds.

Picked one up from AMS last year. I was looking for something else and didn't realize these were even a possibility. But as soon as I saw they had some, I knew I had to get it. Completely agree with your take on it.

How was the packaging when it arrived? I've used AMS a few times for the flexible payments but I always worry about the nightmare stories. Got one of the last Korina '58 LE Explorers for $650 from them (and look what they are pulling now with the $1200 one !!!) and thinking about getting this 'Bird as a sibling to the Explorer. Has it played in well? I do a lot of recording, will it sit in lap reasonably? The Explorer oddly does very well. ☮🎸

@@cuda426hemi packaging was fine. Double-boxed. It is going to sit similar to the Explorer, but maybe a slight bit even more to the left. I usually sit with my guitars in the classical position, but with the Firebird, I can have it on my right leg. Mine is incredibly light too - about 7lbs even.

It's funny that the Robert Baker video sent you to buy one. It was the same for me, and I did it that night when the video came out. I'm supposed to get mine in a couple of days. There has been a bit of delay in shipping I guess
