Wait- My dog (i call it that) eats the normal (food) at stores like Target. I feel so bad, but since I’m 14 and don’t have ownership of the dog, I can’t change it. The dogs are one of the smaller ones. Is it ok or is it bad?

@@estherexploits1686 hey it's alright, it's important to do what you can. If you cant feed your dog quality food then try to enrich their lives in other ways like exercise, training or play. If your situation allows, try giving your dogs some fresh vegetables/meat/fruit every once in a while (make sure they are safe for them to eat). :)

@@clause1809 Yeah, I wouldnt worry about it. I myself struggle to walk my dog every day with my busy schedule but I try to make up for it with small sessions of tug or fetch

I genuinely would love to have a friend like Bella. they're so joyful! it makes me smile seeing them get excited like this. go Bella!

🐾Puppy tips 🐾 -The leash thing is a good idea, we used that until my pup was about 6 months old! But make sure you get cheap leashes because they will probably get destroyed -Get him used to the nail clippers it will help a lot! -I recommend switching out his toys every week. So one week he’ll have a Kong, the next week he’ll have his snake, this helps puppies stay entertained and engaged! -put a blanket over his kennel, it will help him sleep more soundly -and most importantly have fun! The time will fly so fast! 🐾

When I was 3 months old until 5th grade I had a Great Dane that looked just like Astro. That bud is so adorable

Astro is adorable! I’m loving him and the videos including him, so much! He’s actually my dream dog. I’ve always wanted a blue Merle Great Dane, he might be a bit more on the grey side, but he’s 💯perfection! I probably would have even named him Astro myself! I was obsessed with the animated show “Astro Boy” as a child in the 80’s. I’m enjoying watching your videos. I discovered your channel via your KZread shorts (great btw and I love learning random new things, useful or not. Lol.) I love your style and personality as well as all of your content on here. Keep being you! You’re an inspiration. 💕

I literally cried for part of the video my childhood great dane, Tanna, passed away in May 2021 so about a year ago so seeing this is so freaking sweet I hope Astro is happy with you he seems like a great dog

I’m sure you’ve done TONS of research, but I just wanted to let you know that it’s great for Astro to be skinny! Because they grow to be such big dogs, they can have a lot of joint issues, so the less weight they have to carry, the better their joints will be.

@@fauna3515 actually Great Danes are naturally very thin dogs. Of course you’re not supposed to see their bones, but you are supposed to see that they have an hour glass figure. As someone with 3 healthy, one chunky, and one skinny Danes, I speak from experience. Yes, some chunk is good, but not a lot. Danes are supposed to weigh from around 140 - 170 lbs. That’s their healthy weight lol 😂 Also, the thin one is thin because we rescued him. He was dropped off at a farm and we are taking care of him while we try to get his mama. We’ve had him for a week now and he looks a lot better than he did when we got him. He’s already getting weight on his little bones. Once we catch his mother, we’ll be giving him to my moms friend who lives like 4 hours away (we’ll meet with her at a spot like 2 hours away lol) n they’ll be taken care of all the time :)

The whole chopping ears is often done when not really needed , i work in a dog shelter in london and what you really need to worry about is making sure the tips of his ears dont get in mud or any grimy things. Hope this helps
