Personified Fear. A happening in a PSX of which when the BIOS or a CD corrupts, it starts off normal, then cuts to black with the music becoming discordant. Personification is when you describe human activity/emotions on inanimate things. Meaning that the PSX is scared for it's life.

That is not what that means. The nickname "personified fear" means that the fear is so strong it becomes "alive". Therefore, Personified Fear.

@@jerri-leedickson3959 mine was a modded version had Autobleem installed in it if you press start and triangle durning the game startup you can enter a debug menu and edit the settings for the console such as overclocking and graphics improvement bios stuff etc I messed up some of the settings (Idk what settings was) and my game got restarted and and it appeared

This is because the disk file is corrupted causing the bios to mess up

@@itsumbree2The best way to trigger Personified Fear is disc swapping Obviously you'll need a toothpick or whatever you have to hold down the small thing to make it think it's closed Then use a PS1 disc and swap it with a SEGA CD disc, You can use PS2 and PC disc but it takes longer SEGA CD triggers the error alot faster You could get Fearful Harmony or Forbidden Image but it's very likely to get Personified Fear this way!

When my friends inserted an unreadable disc they got Fearful Harmony Mine doesn't really do anything though if I'm lucky I get Personified Fear

Since this is an emulator. Probably trying to play a game with corrupted files. On a real ps1. It happens when BIOS or the CD is corrupted.
