Hey man been trying to figure out for a minute like a consistent Steve option when im gonna hit the wall and im seeing a million different things. I understand there may not be ONE optimal thing to do, but just for the sake of simplicity, as a hold me over as a new Steve, what did you do around 4:30? is that something you would recommend to go for the wall there? Is that flicker 2,1, -> 2,1 flicker canceled duck into shiro? Is that.... good? LET ME KNOW. Any advice would be appreciated, feel like this is something most Steve mains intrinsically know already and are kinda not sharing with the new mains. Also yeah your combo there is not super dissimilar from what I usually go off of that. my combo I took from counter punching paragon which is launcher into ducking 1, down forward 1,2,1 into flicker duck canceled ws 1 into forward 2,1, into LH 2, but I can cut it off at the while standing 1 and go for the flicker 2,1? like you are there? Im not sure if that's what it is. Why im asking.

Sorry so its flicker 1,2 into forward 2,1 back ducking shiro ..... is this something I can do for most of my combos as the variation when im near the wall?

Hello friend, yes f21~B > dck 1+2,1+2,1+2,1+2 is the staple wall combo. But if you're right next to the wall, 21~B > dck 1+2,1+2,1+2,1+2 is the higher damage option to go for. Any more questions, feel free to just let me know!

At first I would disagree but after two months....... Yeah man. Hard agree. King, Azu, Jun players are usually 6-7 ranks above where they truly should be IMO

Lol this is hardly cooked at all....gg Are you still doing much ranked lately? I've been doing more quick matches with my steve because of all the pluggers and cheats in ranked

I haven't played much ranked. I did a few days ago which was the first time in like a month, and I get like 30% pluggers and another 30% toxic teabaggers/ki-chargers which immediately put me off the mood to do ranked. I'll probably wait for a proper disconnection % indicator or have pluggers lose points before I dive back in.

​@@soulxcv my first impression watching you as a Steve with the same rank is that you deserve to be blue at least. I got here not knowing frame data, whiffing like crazy, LOTS of holes in my game that you don't seem to have. Some players are toxic but it's just a matter of how much you let it phase you. Just a game at the end of the day. Also I dunno where you're located but if you wanna try a mirror match, lemme know.

no such thing as "deserved" when it comes to ranking, dont be so entitled with this game ranking lmao, everyone should just focus on the battle in front of them. the pluggers are ppl like you who thinks you don't deserve the win which is why they plug. the cheaters well, they get off winning by cheating so it is what it is. @@vonvicious7737

​@@vonvicious7737I was Tekken King in T7 but that barely matters now. Steve (and I) play to T7's style of hit and run poking and counter hits when the meta of T8 has shifted to hard reads and aggression. I can't seem to adjust well to the shift yet 😅 I'm in SE Asia btw!
