I hope you like Happily Never After! I own Better Than The Movies, but haven't read it yet!

Independent bookstore has just a fun and homey vibes to them 🥰 I really only have one close to me, but I absolutely adore the place! The little reading nooks make the place for me. I'm actually pretty new to Emily Henry as an author, but I'm excited to read Funny Story -- especially with the synopsis because their relationship would be chaaaottic. Glad that there's no miscommunication tropes -- it'll make me tear my hair out lol.

You should definitely read Funny Story! It's such a good book! Every bit of it is lovely!

All the bookstores looked sooo nice! I love how unique each independent book store is 🥰 I reckon you’ll enjoy beach read! It’s the first (and only so far) Emily Henry book I’ve read!

Monstera books is like the perfect shop!!! they really know the demographic to combine books and plants haha and the stickers!! 🪴 I've read 2 Emily Henry books so far and am planning on reading all her books this summer haha 🥰

Love indie bookstore day! I got Summer Crossing by Truman Capote, Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott, The Town That Forgot How to Breath by Kenneth J. Harvey, and Do What Godmother Says by L.S. Stratton from my indie bookstores I can’t wait to read Funny Story! Trying to decide if I want to get a physical copy or listen to the audiobook. Also that Beauty and the Beast retelling sounds so good 👀👀👀

I have never heard of those books but so glad you got to grab some books on Indie Bookstore day! OMG Funny Story was so fun and I read it but I think listening to it would be just as fun! Let me know what you think after you read it!
