The epicenter is 300 miles east of Demre. They probably felt a good jolt. Fortunately, their building is modern.

You have shown us how beautiful Turkey is despite all the death and destruction in other areas due to the violent earthquakes. The poetry message at the end of this video, when you were at the beach, moved me and made me cry. I am so glad that your little family is safe. I will continue to pray for all the people and countries affected by this disaster.

Oh my gosh we were SO HAPPY to see you safe and sound..you were the first people we thought of when we heard of this tragedy. Hugs to you all and prayers for the people of Turkey and Syria and wherever else it was.

Despite all the heartbreak amid such a terrible natural disaster as yesterday's earthquake, I am glad to read in Telegram that you and your family are ok. Your video is a timely and bittersweet contrast with a very touching ending, Dan. I've always felt there is something very humbling and calming about the beautiful and wondrous places in Nature. @@wabi1 Yes, yesterday. He said they are fine, that the earthquake was in the opposite end of the country from where they are, and they will pray and help the victims with whatever they can.

Did it ever occur to you he might have done this video a while ago and put those words in the end as he edited. Many KZreadrs do videos weeks even months ahead of time. Also, I would bet that when we see these videos, he is long gone from that particular city. Who knows if Russia is seeking their escapees

I also agree with you about the ancient blocks you showed us that the ancient beings from LONG AGO must've had advanced technologies we had to redevelop. I also think those beings were very large and the lichen on the stones shows it was under water at one point. Great discovery, Dan!!

I think they had a way of levitating the blocks. Maybe the tool he showed. All around the world we have no answers for how such megalithic blocks could be moved

@@lyndastrait Yes we do. People have showed many ways to lift and place huge blocks with relatively primitive equipment. No mystery. It's all about using levers and pulleys, torque multipliers. We know how they did it. Nothing supernatural, no giants.

The first thing I did was look for his town (Denre) on google maps to see how far it was from the epicenter of the quake. They must have at least felt it as it was felt as far away as Cairo Egypt. Massive quake at 7.8
