Why show what you found at the dumpster when you’re just gonna do a haul when you get home. Just grab it and go.

This infuriates me. Knowing we spend ALOT to buy these items and they throw them away like its junk really makes me think twice about the upsell on things and how were probably being ripped off. I enjoy watching these though

Bath and body works needs to develop a corporate policy to recycle their damages and their testers in order to reduce their carbon footprint. It’s crazy that they just through out things that can be recycled or donate to homeless shelters like the soaps etc. continue doing what you’re doing and removing waste from the landfills.

Bath and body works do recycle damages and testers. The ones found in dumpsters out back of the store are product are people have returned, returned USED, exchanged, exchanged USED... Most of these products that are thrown out to the dumpsters are contaminated by other people taking advantage of the return/exchange policy. Also, customers refilling product with less expensive creams, lotions, EVEN water, have been found by bath and body works employees. So those kind of products end up in the dumpsters. Bath and Body Works also ships out many recycle buckets through various companies like FEDEX, UPS, etc, to pick up recyclable material. Hope this helps understand the system. (not tryna be mean at all).

Actually the security guards have been told that by their boss, but dumpsters are public domain. The store managers authorized the stuff to be thrown out by employees. So it’s up for grabs!

It's private property, they can trespass you.

I can't believe they had a mk great find.

1. You could actually sell luxury item bags that are ripped to those shop that fix luxury items. 2. You could always restore the paper bags of bath and body works and pop inside the candles for a random BnB community pantry. 3. You could actually use expired or damaged essential oils and lotion to polish your wooden furnitures

You could actually salvage the candles and put it on the bath and body works paper bags and have a random candle community pantry.

All the time! The only time I leave is when I'm asked to by cops, security or employees.

How of teen do you dumpster dive? I went to a bbw out of area and found 3 candles. 2 broken new and 1 slightly used unbroken. But when I went to my local bbw at 1 a lady was already their so I left, I went to another and someone was their as well and the guy that was dd seen me pull in to the parking lot so I went in to the next dumpster a few business down which was the 1 I wanted (bbw) and he got in his truck and drove crazy in the parking lot almost hit my car. I was like WOW it’s not that serious. I guess he got mad because I went to the dumpster he was going to go to next. Can you share some pointers??? A specific time to go?? it’s legal everywhere in the US it’s just certain cities have certain laws. like Chicago you have to get a permit

Many in my city are locked or gated. I can see why, but at the same time, also see that the waste companies produce is grossly outrageous.
