I'm a recovering heroin addict. Clean for a year and a half now. I used to watch these and get jealous because I needed help and I felt like there was no one to help me. Somehow I decided to help myself. I have a job now, back with my kids and family and I'm not going to say that life is all roses but I don't have to run from my problems now. I never thought this man would give a drug addict help.

Good for you brother! The psychological addiction takes longer to get rid of than the physical one. Took me two years to start feeling "normal" and to begin to enjoy life, after I quit benzodiapines (sleeping pills.) Don't ever doubt whether it's worth it, you may not think so now, but oh yes!!! I have no words. This guy has no racism, doesnt look down at anyone, regardless of how broken one can be. He even hides his face. A strong fact it comes from his haert. My haert is warmed by the love i see here and in hundreds of pods ive seen. I speechless. Warm hugs to this man. This is a classic example, an outstanding example of real love. Godly love. Yeah, and you notice how his front teeth are missing? I use to think it was the drugs rotted them away, but actually 9/10 its because they were busted out of their mouth, either by a drug dealer they showed up to their house at 5am, didn't have their money or trying to BS the wrong person.

Yvonne, I understand your comment which in many cases may be true, but people like him use that as a scapegoat when caught. I have no sympathy for such people because they set a benchmark of distrust that honest and needy people don't need. Let him eat from the rubbish tins because it is where he chose to be. I am a South African and have encountered many of his kind, I do not want to hang my head in shame because of these types of people. BI has a way with people which is unique in my country, him being a black man above all.

The fact that he genuinely got angry at him buying cigarettes means that he isn't simply throwing money at people, but he wants to see them improve

I agree. But This is the only video of Pharati I don't care for. The fellow has an addiction, he did what his body demanded. We have no idea what brought him to this point in life. It would be better to treat with love. Scolding the man over and over is not going to heal an addiction. He hounded and badgered the man repeatedly for an answer he couldn't give. He was frightened. Generosity is good, but its not a permission to be harsh and uncompassionate.

Don’t expect a field to grow instantly firm a few seeds. Sometimes you get luckily but usually many of the seeds get taken by birds and dry up or get washed away. Does that mean it’s not worth sowing? If everybody in this man’s life treated him this way, he would soon change.

I was on heroin for 5 years , just before millennium , it took me about 4 hospital detoxes , 4 prison detox’s , a couple of home detox’s , 2 implants , naltrexone to block it , was hard to stay off , gets easier after a few years

He won't I was married to a man who ended up an addict. It killed him and he would steal from his aged parents snd even took 20 each of my kids had gotten from Christmas. He asked to lend it to him 15 minutes later. I couldn't go to work without him breaking in and robbing us. Every dollar he gave him at the end he bought drugs. They care more about drugs then food. I promise you.

Iam a church Pastor, giving second chance even to the worse is our duty, they lie, the become dishonest because of hard things they face in life... kindness is the key to open the eyes who got lost in their journey in life... keep on doing in helping people and God will bless you the more Sir.. You're doing a great service to mankind with such help. It is unbelievable how so many people are struggling for even two meals.

It’s so sad to see people give up on themselves. I know what it feels like to give up on yourself. I know what it’s like to come out on the other side. I know what it’s like to have somebody reach out love and compassion. Thank you for doing what you do and thank you to those who help me.

So sad. Think they are some people watching every steps and moves he makes. He isn't alone I guess. He is in debt trying to cover his Hope the Holy Spirit could heal him

Prayers for this man drug problems, I admit I was triggered at how he played BI but then it all made sense when BI soothing response showed forgiveness and reminded me to use my weapons of Prayers and Hope to touch his life not only for his drug use but for him to be a better person.

Wow BI.i admire you so much. Other people would've left that guy there and the first time he ran away.but u set us a good example how to treat people in need and to look beyond their faults.God bless u my brother..

The man is a nervous wreck. Hope things go right for him and that he gets good nourishment and heals. Hope he wants this too. He should see the more beautiful side of life. He probably can help others and thereby help himself.

i honeslty think he wont change cause even at the end of the video you could see he wanted to go away while Bi was talking to him , he probably wants to hide and use those drugs.
