I once gave a homeless man a double cheeseburger and some French fries and he reached in his pocket and tried to give me money for it. I almost cried and told him that defeats the purpose of doing something out of the goodness of your heart and that his money was no good with me. He said"are you sure?" And tears welled up in his eyes because it had been so long since he Was shown any compassion or kindness ,that broke my heart. We talked and ate our food and that was 6 months ago. Now he is my roommate because at time of our meeting I was living in my car but still working. I got him a job with me and he proved to have a better work ethic than me ,I guess you could say it is a symbiotic relationship because we help each other out and bring out the best in each other. It was like God directed us to each other.

It is true you do not have to be rich to help. I once met a man on a bike on a very cold Canadian day. He asked if I could help him out with some money. I reacjed in my pocket and gave him a ten dollar bill. As soon as I gave it to him I realized that was tje last of my money with another week till payday. I gave it anyways. As I left that man a small wind stirred up and a twenty dollar bill was blown to my feet. I have never since that day worried, if I see someone in need, I help. My wife and I were traveling to see her grandparents. We stopped to get something to eat, and when we walked in I noticed a man that looked like he was going through some hard times. What really got to me was his shoes, they were literally falling off his feet. We ate quickly, I watched him the whole time. People acted like he wasn't there. I had recently bought a pair of new shoes that I kept telling my wife that I just loved 😁. I went straight to the car and got a new pair of socks; went back inside, handed him the socks, asked his shoe size, got on the floor and gave him those shoes. This video made me smile extra big. Thank you for all that you do. Peace be with you 🙏♥️

I knew a man like this once. He was very wealthy but lived on the streets. He had a huge house that he let homeless people sleep in and he fed anyone who asked. I use to make big pots of soup with him for people. He himself lived on $5 a day. This was beautiful!

That was incredible. Then ends with swapping shoes. He called you "son," and gave you money for something to eat. Watching these videos shows the presence of God in SA, even among the homeless. I hope and pray that this man is protected and is doing well. His children, too. He is vulnerable, so i pray for a shield of protection all around him. That no one will take any more from him, and he will be a blessing.

Because in this world people would rather pick the love of power rather than the power of love. Power gives you worldly desires, wicked manipulative mind, and control while love gives you freedom, sound negotiative mind, and trust. This world is ruled by people with power who wants more power by any means necessary Why? because they believe true peace is control. They are seeking peace but they are distorted and distracted by power.

I'm at a lost for words.... Bad luck can ruin anyone's situation, just remember ANY of us could be 1 bad decision away from the curb...

This is true. And most of us don’t realize it could be us. Never take anything for granted. Money is only an insulator. It doesn’t make you better than anyone else. In fact, it magnifies your flaws. It teaches arrogance which displaces humility and humanity.

Joe King That’s downright rude, this is why many don’t have friends, people judge by looks and appearance, just because he uses the name doesn’t mean he acts like him, doesn’t mean he’ll act like him, doesn’t mean he supports him and so on. Completely contradicts what you just said, don’t say something if you yourself can’t even keep. It’s like taking care of others without taking care of yourself, always take care of yourself before helping others.

This is the best video I've watched from Mr Phakathi- taking the shoes of his feet for someone else and humble enough to wear the old man's beat up slippers! True Christianity! This is genuine love! ❤

Never judge. My dad himself looked homeless. People will judge him until my brothers and I rolled up. Then the shock on their faces when they see three college educated children this 'homeless' man paid for. We would get in my brand new car (he purchased as a grad gift) and ride.🥰🥰🥰 My dad used to get a big kick outta it. It was funny some times, then you realize how materialistic and judgmental people are based on looks. RIP to my dad! We had some good times.... forever in my heart

I wear raggedy clothes, hair is long sometimes, prison style tattoos. I’ve seen people grab their kids and pull them aside when I’m alone without my own kids. Then people see my wife. My two little perfectly groomed kids, my comfortable life (not rich at all) lifestyle and scratch their heads. All of my bosses years later come to me and say I didn’t think you’d last 3 months and here I am the favorite employee.

I loved the way he called him "My son" before he even did anything for him. He just radiated love and humility, as did the gentleman trying to help him. They had tears in their eyes and so did I. 🥺💕😊

On my way to the Netherlands from Poland we took a break somewhere in Germany and there was this guy wandering around from one trash container to another. We were going back from vacation by car and had a lot of food and stuff to drink with us. At first I wasn't sure what he was doing at the first container, then he walked to the next one and it immediately then became obvious he is looking for something to live of. His clothes weren't all that bad and he did have a watch but that might have been from the past, that's why I wasn't sure at start but he was collecting like bottle halves and stuff to fill it with water at the absolutely gross toilet taps where u wash ur hands. We quickly gave him 2 bottles with something to drink and some of our sandwiches and buns. Till this day I feel regret that I didn't give him more :c Let's all try our best to be like BI someday

Hes not homeless, hes very wealthy. Hes going through a rough time worring about his daughter with cancer and that makes him worry about granddaughter also.
