Always remember when you find kids stuff there are shelters, CPS always needs things. Churches with pantries. It doesn’t have to all be taken to Goodwill.

I used to work in retail. I remember one time before taking the trash out that an empty display box of glasses felt heavier than normal, so I double-checked, and to my suprise, there were a few designer frames that got missed from the unboxing. Human error definitely happens. However, stores should have a best practice to double-check unboxing trash before throwing away and donating older things instead of damaging out items!

I live in California and in my area they really watch there store dumpsters and police watch like crazy they would rather fine you or arrest you for doing dumpster diving, but you can protest in the freeway or destroy stuff they’ll let you do that. Lol keep doing what your doing

Welcome! Occasionally I’ve had employees or security ask me to leave. It’s not illegal where I live, but every city has different ordinances.

It’s sad how much they throw out, they should just take it to shelters/missions!!

Some of this is perfectly fine and it’s not a mistake that they threw it away. They just don’t have room for it and like the Fourth of July stuff they throw it away because it’s not in season anymore. I doubt it was an employee that planted those now they were probably like on Clarence or something or they just got more of the same shoe. You’d really be surprised with perfectly good stuff they throw away.

Shelly below me said it , but it's worth being said again. Foster care kids, those children usually have very little , lose even more of what little they have when they get shuffled from one place to the next. Im so dissapointed that these stores aren't doing this. The crazy thing is , they could call the local office , and some one would pick the stuff up. Then the case workers would take it out to their clients (The children)
