This was a tremendous find! They certainly loved their tvs. The art style of the owl is called macrame. It was hugely popular during the 1970s.

Thank you Rural Adventurer. Yeah from the outside it almost looked like it wouldn't have had a thing left. The TVs, for me, were quite interesting as I never grew up in the black and white time and really have only known a couple of push button/dial televisions like these were, in my lifetime. The owl was neat. Thank you for letting me know what it was 😍

Yeah it was a really fascinating place, Princess. Aww there you go. I vaguely remember we had a push button style TV lile the colour one I filmed then all of a sudden we had the black coloured square modern TV and then flat screens started coming in aha. How technology has changed over the years 😍. G'day.. That was great.. l paused on that news paper, 9.30 article about bronzed Australia life savers. Was an interesting article. Those beach chairs, my golly. Straps would snap.. oh the memories. I remember getting our first color TV. It was in a wooden cabinet. Dad put casters on it, so he could watch the news while eating his tea. That was an amazing explore. Merry Xmas. 🎄🦘🎄

It's fascinating isn't it Dee. I loved how they wrote back then, too. Such formal style English aha. Oh the beach chairs yep we had a few when I was a little kid and they were shockers 😂. Yes the colour TV was a big deal according to my dad. He said about them watching them in shop windows cos they couldn't afford one right at first. Such a different time in history. Thank you Clinton and yes that bottle is by Halls who only recently came back to light here in Australia. They were once the Coca Cola of Australia before Coca Cola was big here. hey drew what a time capsule alright looked like a house that would have been amazing to live in i just loved the old styled televisions much older technowledgy has come such a long way i really enjoy seeing the old stereo player and tv in one my grandma and grandpa had one when i was a kid growing up loved them styles very much has been lots of fun viewing your videos in 2023 drew hope in 2024 that you get to do a lot more and has been great learning what happens around and in south australia drew thanks for the share of your video cheers drew.😁🤠😎🌛🌜☀🌡🌞🌈🌈

Glad I found your channel this year, can't wait for what you have in store for 2024! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :) By the way I noticed you have a little bit of wind noise I don't know if you film this on a camera or a phone but if you just have a hole for a microphone, go ahead and tape a cotton ball over it and it will reduce wind noise. It's a small version of what they do for the big microphones in Hollywood! Its light enough to hear everything else but simultaneously cut out wind noise

Aha good questions John. I wonder what sort of class structure like it was on the farm here. Australia was mostly egalitarian but some elements of class-ism definitely came over from Britain. Loved the Christmas decorations at the beginning of this! I hope you had a fantastic Christmas Drew? I also wish you A great 2024 . I look forward to seeing where you take your channel next year :) and the awesome locations you find. This abandoned Farm was truly something. So creepy. The fact that plates were still the kitchen and the mugs in the pantry. This would not be a surprise if this place was haunted. 100% this would be so freaky at night. I did love the fireplaces. And the old TV's wow and that paper from1984! LOL that moth ball packet made me laugh. I don't think it worked. Also, that old fridge outside was awesome! Do be careful when going into these places though. I thought jeeze at any point you were going to go through the wooden floor. LOL . What a fantastic Find drew! Really , really enjoyed.

Hehe yess the wooden floors are frightening sometimes 😅. Yeah those decorations are close to my house. Absolutely beautiful and if only I had a creative eye and the time I'd probably try decorate my place. The farms often feel like they have residual spirits? I reckon you'd find them fascinating to investigate like Heather does. It's almost like some people just walked out of their homes. Really sad and interesting all the same. I wonder if that is what happened and if so why did they suddenly walk out? It is very fascinating. I will have to Heather's investigation's. I hope to Brandan but only got a GPX5000 and Gold Monster for now. I think this coming year I'll get a Nox or the GPZ I've heard is maybe coming 🤔

@DrewsAdventuresGo you mean the upgraded 7000? I heard rumours too... but the 6000 is only so new.. maybe it will be like a 6000 and 7000 in the one machine, who knows. My price guess is about 12-14k. Will be the new beast detector for a while to come IF it comes out. Yeah I literally got a 5000 few months ago and yet to use it in the triangle. Got gold monster sdc nox 800 and now the 5000 lol. Havnt used the gold monster either. Is what it is. There will be a time and place. I got it because it was cheap. At the moment through ebay I'm fairly sure you can get a nox 800 for $960 with the 100$ off voucher. This is the cheapest they will ever be if you want to take advantage of that. Fairly sure it will still be going

That's a decent price to pay for them. Yes I heard a rumour they're working on a new machine. If only SA had more land to detect. My only bug bear since I primarily got into the hobby with gold nugget detecting but hey there's still some amazing stuff non gold I've found over the years.
