Abandoned Lost & Forgotten Time Capsule House with EVERYTHING Left Behind

Ойын-сауық

ABANDONED Retro Toys, Records and Books Left Behind in an Abandoned Time Capsule House
Funny story about this now Sad Abandoned Time Capsule House, it was sometime around 2015 or 2016 and I was driving around scouting for new places to explore.
I drive past an older looking house, the exterior looks a bit run down and while the grass had been cut, it wasn't really properly maintained and there was some junk and an old car on the drive way.
Curious, I pull up and look around - from what I can see everything is almost looking abandoned, until a window opens and a sweet old woman pops her head out and says hello to me! I mention that I am out on the hunt for old houses that are no longer lived in, and a few things made me wonder about this house and I guess I was wrong!
She laughed and said "Nope, I'm still here", I apologized for the bother and went on my way.
Now, we fast forward to early in 2020 and I see a video on KZread where the people exploring the home show the exterior on their walk in, it was THAT house! Inside it was most definitely left vacant for quite a long time, watching the video I knew right away that this was that house.
I sent a message to the girl who I had heard discovered it, turns out she passes the house quite often and had been watching and watching and one day she made the call to check it out and turns out she made the right call.
I will let the video do the talking, this was an absolutely stunning home that is surely with a sad ending resulting in a families loss and for some reason they have not come back to pick up the pieces.

Watching from CT! This just brought my entire childhood back in one flash. I miss those days. This house reminded me of my grandparents house that we had to clean out after they passed. So many bottles and can goods and glass canning, Tupperware from the 60s, and games, toys, movies on VHS. Also all the pins and jewelry. It's very sad they raised their kids there and it looked to be such a happy home but then to just see the way they rummaged through things and left such a mess was sad and shows how generations have changed 😢. The lack of respect and care is evident in many of these situations. Thank you for taking the time to show us and being so respectful too. 🙏

I loved this explore!! I was born in 1972 and can relate to everything in that super duper cool house!! Vintage baby! I would totally buy this house as is, fix it up and clean it up!!! So sad the family hasn’t done anything with their parents things. Kitchenware etc. can be of good use to someone who doesn’t have anything! Plus..it’s vintage!! Woodstock, On. 😀

Makes me sad. People must have been around my age. I am 63 and my son states all the time he wants no part of this shit when I am gone. Trying to get me to move in with them. But how do you throw your whole life away. I am from Cincinnati Ohio in the USA and love your videos. Especially what's up guys. Take care and be safe. Thanks for taking me with you. Sad other people can be like you and leave things like they found it- that's respect. Prayers Teresa

To me it looks like this is a family home with A LOT of history inside. These capsules always looks like places where someone, a family member have gone through things but it becomes overwhelming and they leave. Houses with so much stuff like this must be difficult for any close family to go through.

I have a feeling the house has not been empty very long, 5-6 months max. The blue surgical masks on the kitchen table and main bedroom are a very 2020 thing. Also there appeared to be power as we could see the time lit up on the microwave. Some areas of the house have little dust or cobwebs, whereas other look like they have been unused for years. And that dying tree still had some green on it. If I were to guess, I'd say an elderly couple lived there their whole life and raised a family, the husband passed away years ago and the widow remained only living in some parts of the huge house (basement door duct taped) until she passed away (or went to live in a long term care home) a few months ago. The widow may not have been able to maintain the house hence the water damage in the dining room.

Yes,I noticed the mask and tree in the living room. Kids do not take care of their parents, as they did in the 40's and 50's. Use to be the elder parent would go to live with one of the children, if they had any. Makes you wonder if she died I'd Covid and the family hasn't had time for estate to be settled.

Oh my gosh. I love this explore. I adored your little story about having met the lady of the house. It is such a beautiful house. I loved seeing all the old toys and stuff. I used to have most of those old toys back when I was growing up. The 70's. Good stuff. That cold cellar looked like it was filled floor to ceiling, wall to wall with webs- not just the doorway. Lol. This is a great video... the feelings it stirs up, the the story it tells. I love the end where you filmed the water game, filmed the water then fill the game. So cool.👏👏👏

Such a beautiful house. Two things that sticks out with this video, is as we age, we really have to get rid of our stuff cause obviously family don't want to spend the time going thru all that stuff. My kids don't want any of my stuff. Also, my husband like to hold onto things "just incase" we need it. Our crawlspace is jammed with stuff we haven't use in a long time. Great video !! It was cool seeing all the old items the homeowner had.

So sad that the children or grandchildren did not want to save some of those memories in the house 😢

It really is a time capsule... it’s amazing how much stuff they kept over years. It’s a shame it’s just sitting there to rot.

Some of those toys bought back memories how I wish to be young again 🙂. You can tell it hasn't been abandoned too long by the plants and the tree also I didn't noticed any mold. Excellent find keep up with the good job 🙂.

Hi. I'm from Vancouver, Washington. All those toys & games you found, I have played with when I was a kid. Takes me down memory lane seeing all the stuff that you found in each room of that house. It's a shame to see all of it just rot away like that. Truly a time capsule indeed!!! Please show more time capsule videos-- I love them. God bless.

First of all, this is a beautiful home. i believe that this couple could've been in flea marketing. and when there no longer could do it, they brought it all on home. it is very sad to see so much just go to waste and no one to care about it. it is a jem.

I would love to see this one someday. The children's toys had me in tears, memories of playing with my son with a lot of them. I love how you set up the toys at the end. I hope no one finds this to vandalize or steal things. Take photos and leave only footprints.

The amount of treasures in that house is mind blowing! But I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes thinking how their entire lives are in that home slowly rotting away. It does appear that someone has gone though a lot of it, became overwhelmed and just left it. So very sad. Thank you for sharing. It really makes you see life in a different way.

I remember playing with quite a few of the same Fisher Price toys as a kid, especially the schoolhouse. My grandmother had one, and I remember it usually being confined to the off-limits shelf during the family reunions because my cousin would always get caught using the letter magnets to write swear words on it.
