You have a real gift for making videos. I didn’t think a video about a decaying, disgusting camp could be interesting, but yours was! Your sense of humor makes all your videos fun.
My wife was a Pioneer. We've had a lot of fun talking about our childhood experiences. Her childhood in Soviet Siberia and mine in the US during the days of Ronald Raygun in the final days of the Cold War. It sucks that that mentality is returning.
Enjoyed video. My wife was a teenager in Soviet Union. She went to pioneer camp. She tells me many happy stories of summer camp. It reminds me of my time as a boy scout.(Without political classes.)

as a person who grew up in the USSR, I can say - it was really cool! especially, the sports camp on the reservoir from the sailing school! we really lived in tents for a whole month, eating in a real soldier's field kitchen! where are my 13 years?

A reminder that people in the Soviet Union were PEOPLE! They liked to have fun. I think that’s important to remember, as history gets further and further away. The Soviet Union didn’t actually last that long - the only leader born in it was Putin, who outlived it. But it was such a unique time in history, it should be remembered.

Those summer camps were cool. The forest adventure style ones. I used to go every summer in the outskirts of St-Petersburg, in Karelia. We didn't have any patriotic education as you said, but I used to go there in the late 80s. You are too young to have experienced it. We had great time in summer camps.
Charming as Always. Loved "I guess it is in my blood" when you successfully tied the red (what else, I ask you?) kerchief (?) around the statue's neck. A true Pioneer!

Hopefully, when political tensions die down in the world. I would like to travel to Russia someday. I was born and raised in rural places like that in the Appalachian Mountains in America. A lot of run-down houses, farms, and lost forgotten histories in the place that I came from. It made me fascinated with old rundown down and dilapidated buildings in rural secluded areas where nature has reclaimed the land.
Always a joy to see a new video from you, Nesty:) . It is obvious that you put a lot of effort into making these videos. The videos have so much style and humor. You also have the eye of a filmmaker, for the presentation is very cinematic. When your channel gets bigger, I hope that you'll be able to do more travel videos like this!👍👍
Nesty is back! I see you found your fun and comical humor in this video (It must have been hiding in this camp, under the spiders😂😂 )! What a well produced video, loved every minute (I so wanted that house, before the tree crashed into it.🤣🤣)! Love the treasure hunt! Maybe in a few years, you can return to see who else has found the treasure! Or better yet, find other hidden treasures in Russia! Cute magic trick( With the right angle and the camera lower, you could have stood behind the well and dropped to your knees to disappear, making it look like your fell in. Maybe next time)! 👍👍
Love your sense of adventure and adorable sense of humor, Nat (just like Black Widow). If I would go off the beaten path like you guys, I'd have surely worn my hiking boots, pants and long sleeved shirt (out of fear). I applaud your courage and initiative to seek out these hidden, interesting places. Can't wait to see where you go next.💞

Underrated detail - I love how this video’s thumbnail makes Nesty look like Nancy Drew, on the hunt for some long hidden secrets! In that vein, I’ve decided the old hairpin Nesty took from the Geocache was the long lost hierloom of a Russian Imperial noble line, some Pioneer girl found it in the cottage, and the ghost of a long dead noble lady is at peace now that her treasure is in the hands of someone who knows it is special! I hope Nesty does more of these geocaches and don’t give up on getting into that urban explorer club! (if you can do so safety!) Agent Nesty exploring hidden and forbidden soviet secrets, preserving the memories of these places before time washes away this history, sounds like the best video series ever
Welcome to the world of Geocaching and LP's (Lost Places). There must be a lot to discover in Russia. I love to visit the remains of Sovjet Army here in Eastern Germany. Even after 30 years since they left there are still many bunkers, barracks, residential buildings, and monuments to visit. Greetings from Germany!

Geocaching is a great way to explore areas that you wouldn't normally go to. I've spent decades exploring (mining) ghost towns in the western US and yes, all these old buildings smell of decay. Thanks for sharing your adventure. My two girls were adopted from Crim in 2008. They spoke of summer camps the orphanages would send them to for a month in the summer. We haven't been able to find the one they went to on Google maps yet, but I will show them your adventure and see if it brings back any memories. I know this one isn't the one they went to.
