ive been watching it from the start and its absolutely incredible how far he has gotten.

7m flip. 5m lost to tax. 2m profit. That hurts me soo much to see but its mindblowing how much gp is getting taken out of the game

I saw another YT video show increase in certain items bought when someone starts a bot farm for something every so often. I was interested if you take this in to account when flipping or try your best to not act upon it or even know about it.

When I used to day flip I used to average 50m a day, though this was a few years ago before g.e tax.

Haven't logged into os rs since vorkath was released abouts and not since smithing rework in rs3. As an avid flipper / mercher the tax pains me in my pockets. But it makes sense. Biggest profit day was 3.9b on the day of release for rs3 invention buying ganodermic armor and pking myself to collect the flakes. Biggest profit month on osrs was close to 2b. I focused on selling BULK supplies to 200m skillers. Dart tips would sell in 1-25m chunks as I had 42 members acc at my peak abusing the ge limits. Good times. Now I do the same thing but irl and selling on ebay, it's changed my life in many ways. BUY LOW SELL HIGH TIL I DIE

Always wondered, why isn't the Crystal Crown the target item for the head slot? 250M vs Torva floating around ~180M. Has he ever said a rule is that the items have to be tradeable?

I think that the reason is the crystal crown is just a cash sink. It costs 250m to buy, but can’t be traded, nor is it worth anything on its own. Might not be what he’s going for.

The Elidnis Ward is similar to the Pegasian Crystal. Both are an item that do nothing alone but added to another item becomes better. What you have to remember is that it'll be the arcane sigil that's the bottleneck, similar to how it's the ranger boots that's the bottleneck for pegasian boots. So that's why it's not a "slept on" item, it's just how that kind of items go.

that's just wrong, straight up. the ward alone gives more magic bonus (3%) than the addition of the arcane sigil (2%). depending on your other gear, the base ward can give the same max hits as the fortified ward

@@mythiclime2225 Except I'm not wrong. While the elidnis' ward is a better item, it's not as rare as the arcane sigil. What I was wrong about was the fact that the ward can be used alone, which I didn't realize, but it'll be a pretty cheap item as it's not very rare. It'll not shoot up in price because of it's availability

They added a GE tax. Everything you sell, you lose 1% of. So if you sell something for 100 gp, Jagex takes 1gp, and removes it from the game. Up until 5m per item. So a scythe selling for 371m, actually nets the player 366m

I'm curious about how tax works in OSRS, If you're buying Scythes at 364m and selling at 366m, how do you make money? Wouldn't there be that 5% tax that basically takes away like, 15m from the sell?

It’s because it is a common drop from TOA and needs to be attached to an Arcane Sigil. If it was the bis mage shield on its own and did not require the Arcane Sigil it would be worth we’ll over 150m I’m sure.

Hmm i had not much problem flipping even after g.e tax you just make sure you calculate wether its worth it or not. I like to add that i basicaly only flip low price high quantity items/resources Easily make a few mill a day with very low risk or effort

I was flipping bot items mostly like green/blue hides, dbones, air orbs, chins, raw sharks, etc and made like easily 5m every night and when the tax came it went to like 1m a night. And I would actively flip like bandos/arma/dhl/d claws/prims for pretty low margins but it was super fast. Idk maybe the margins are different now but i still think he woulda been way further along without the tax

It is a scam, yes. I've spoken to a person who holds an actual, legitimate title and he advised me that you are effectively just buying a piece of paper. You cannot gain a Lordship through any of these methods or anything of the sort. It's all bullshit wrapped up to be some sort of fancy gift you give to friends. Except the gift is pretty much worthless and holds nothing but psychological value.

As a Scottish person I'm also not sure if I'm comfortable with the whole "buy a section of land for a joke" thing, you know the thing that happens where cities become overrun with airbnb and its just people looking to make some profit from the city and not houses for the community? It feels like that for our countryside. There have been enormous amounts of deforestation and so the tree planting projects also have to be careful to be proper rewilding projects and not just mass planting mono cultures because it sounds nice in an advert.
