I Found A Big Gold Deposit Under My Campsite

Welcome back to the jungle of cool temperate rainforests on Tasmanians Wild West-coast.
Last trip in here found a 21 gram pile of gold, as I explored the old timers workings and continue my pursuit in search of the mother lode.
This time, I’ll be exploring further, and I uncover some amazing ground hidden right underneath my nose.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride, as we take on the Wild West, and score a giant bounty for our efforts..

The best way to see a platypus is to creep along a remote creek slowly at Dawn making sure not to transmit vibrations through the water or ground and make sure you don't cast a shadow to give yourself away. If you see one coming down the creek stop. The platypus is usually with another one and being curious they will wonder what on Earth you are, an Alien? lol

The folded bedrock at 29:10 is something that all prospectors should really pay attention to, this indicates massive forces of deformation of the current bedrock and is often associated with numerous small voids in the rock that hydrothermal fluids containing minerals including gold can enter or fill often concentrating the gold and other minerals. Never ignore those folds in gold country. Any obvious shear line is a sign of solid rock being moved and is also good, but the folded rocks mean that they were deeper and kind of plastic in nature so the super hot fluids actually leach the host rock and concentrate the minerals into small rich viens. It's the same process essentially as large fault lines but is often richer in mineral content. Sometimes it's the little observations that count. If you on the flats swinging a big minelab then the rocks still count, but the when you find a bit look at the trees and shrubbery, there may be a pattern. Never just assume it's from upstream or straight uphill, look at the rocks and also the plants, they are there for a reason. Eg. I have found multiple ounce patches just driving along and have seen a line of vegetation that is anomalous with the surrounding area, old creek bed. If you want to try the prospector thing, 90% of people just are throwing money away. Pay attention to everything, ground and vegetation. Also don't plan on making money because I know professionals who make less than the advantage supermarket employee, they just want the lifestyle.

Rob, beautiful cinematography, pun warning, gorgeous terrain and eye-popping greenery, and your own outlook, too, also beautiful! Just before the quartz stringer bedrock, seemed so like the song by The La's, "There She Goes", play it at home for the two of you. And happy trails, with surety and safety, to the top of Parson's Falls on "Phantom Creek", however much more terrain that creek covers, with the Phantom motherlode source, surely remains to be seen? 😉 The gold you found and it's type is fascinating, and it's rightly your task to trace the source, if you so choose. On gold, there's just one law for all Australians if you sell by weight any type to anyone, if regularly it's reportable by AUSTRAC, look that up, those Tas exceptionalism furphies only an Australian Crown, since 1901!Said to Levi, any listed prosecution outcomes? We'll see what your new parliamentary arrangement comes up or down with, sausage-grippers and stake/steakholders, huh. Cheers from Gabi of Narre Warren, Vic!
