We need you an TanktheTech to do a reaction to these guys together. He breaks down all the band members kits, and was their US tour manager. Then you'd bring the singing aspect in. I think it could be fun

This would be an awesome collab, I did see Tank commented on more charismatic voices channel about a killswitch video saying he’d seen the dvd like 500 times, so he watches singer reactions. These two would vibe so much.

Tank's currently a production manager on their European leg of the Tekkno World Tour. Tank's put out 3 vlogs as I'm writing this, and EC has put out the first part of their own vlog as well, featuring Tank ofc :) I know this comment thread is a month old, but just if anyone reads this later on..;)

Never apologize for having fun! Whether the reaction is more of a technical deep dive or an experiential analysis of the music's overall vibe, there's a ton of value in your work. So thank you for what you do!

fun fact: it wasnt really Kevin who was laying in the bed, it was "tingilya cosplay" who also did the train announcement in Tekkno Train :)

I'm such a sucker for anything that merges two (or more) genres together like they do, that's also one of the (many) reasons I find Nanowar of Steel incredible. DiscoMetal was such a banger earlier this year. I really loved this one, keep up your great work.

That's also a thing that I noticed with the songs and artists/bands I've listened to throughout the years. Contrast in music plays a big role too, whether in the genres themselves, production/song structure, or vocals (like Kevin & Nico) What a great time to be obsessed with music! 😁 lol

Daniel Haniß, the mastermind behind the mixes and guitarist, likes to double the vocals with vocoded tracks in the background

I saw them in october live and they were insanely good. The entire gig had the full energy that they put in their videos.

Something to note: The covered is labelled TEKKNO both because it was intended to be a bonus track on the album (or so I'm told) and because it incorporates elements from the songs in said album.

This band bring so much joy, it makes watching reactions that much more enjoyable. Love it that you had so much fun.

Aah this cover has brought me SO much joy this year. Even my 3 year old daughter was dancing to it at one point. The video is glorious as well. Just perfect.

I'm not a big EC fan and don't know anything beyond whatever hits make their round on youtube, but based on what Tank the Tech said about managing the NA part of their tour, they have this way of treating everybody in a very respectful and dignified way while still making them feel like part of the EC family.

Electric Callboy's collaboration with Babymetal might just be the song of the decade.

You don't have to apologise for being genuine. Think I've watched all your song reactions and you do such exhaustive break downs, sometimes it's just fun to watch the sheer glee you have experiencing a song and it doesn't need as much of the in depth analysis. Honestly, most of us are here because you have such a lovely personality and energy so no drama llamas if the breakdown isn't always comprehensive.

First video of yours I've seen, and I think you're about to become my favourite vocalist reaction channel! You have an amazing ear for what is happening in the mix, and on the first listen as well! In that section where you noticed they changed up the drums, I think what was happening was they stopped playing the high frequency parts of the drum kit (cymbals etc) and focussed on the kick, snare and maybe some low toms. I concur that the later section sounded like a synth part duplicating the vocal line and layered in with it - as an amateur producer, I've noticed that's a common production technique in modern heavy genres, more often used to beef up guitar lines even further.

I was at the Melbourne show last month and this song was really the most ridiculous fun! Could barely hear the higher ‘Tekkno’ bits with everyone jumping to it

I got to see them in Melbourne & it was an incredible show. Everyone we really nice even if I was like 20 years older than the people around me. I was like ok I'm up front. I haven't been able to do that for ages but something was in the air & I think I was moving a lot which helps my messed up legs & spine. This was the best sing along. I went in my first mosh pit when I was seeing Nirvana like 30 years ago. I decided that this would be my last & what a way to go out, so much fun. Was covered in sweat, water, booze, glitter & streamers. So good! Now I'll still go to shows but I'll likely be in a wheelchair sitting in the accessible area

I would love to hear your thoughts on an all girl Japanese group Hanabie (Hah-knawby-eh). They often include similar elements to Electric Callboy musically and in the "feel" of their videos. Especially "Be the Gal" early summer Ver. But I would start with "We Love Sweets". Hope to see more from you soon!!

So great to listen to someone who actually realises that the Cascada version is itself a cover of the original song by Scottish singer Maggie Reilly ( of Mike Oldfield's " Moonlight Shadow " fame ) . Remember her first in the 70s in a band called Cado Belle formed by two guys I went to school with !

Something completely different but maybe interesting because there are a lot of different vocalists in it could be "Kaufmann & Maid" by Sasha (who has also done one of the Hypa Hypa cover versions), Subway to Sally,Feuerschwanz,Tanzwut,dArtagnan, and Patty Gurdy. They are all from the german folk / medival rock scene. The song is in German and was a produced because one of the german lat night show host was making fun of "their" style of music.

I would love to watch a reaction to some of the old Electric Callboy Songs (they even did a cover of California Gurls waaaay back then). And maybe a comparison between their old singer Sushi (now known making music as Ghostkid) and Nico. Maybe to see something their style have in common or where they differ.

This band is truly so much fun. They take the music seriously, but themselves not so much.

They certainly were my gateway to enjoying harsh vocals :-)
