what scares me the most about it - is the fact that most OTHER countries don't have as elaborate courses for getting a drivers license (compared to germany). also EVERY german has mandatory training hours driving on the autobahn - learning the rules.... yes, the autobahn has partially no speed limits - but it also has strict rules. now imagine a bad tourist driver with NO clue going +250km/h on the autobahn..... that's not comforting to know.....

The third prong on the plugs is not only for high power devices. Its the ground wich is basically a safety feature. If the phone charger wouldnt be insulatet by the plastic case (for example have a metal case) it would need the third prong as well.
