Passed my PPL checkride yesterday you guys were a big reason I wanted to get it!

You know, the more I watch your channel, the more I think a C150 could be a really great plane for me to build time until I can afford the “family plane” someday. But then it hits me that no C150 can ever look quite as sleek and simple and pretty as N22318 ❤

I think you may have mixed up some of the audio. There was a 172 in front that was the one rocking his wings over the smoke stacks and got that "perfect heading" call. I wasn't in the video linked below, but I did see his video and was up in the pattern that morning. Just a friendly reminder to really be careful coming into sun n fun, it gets crazy up there and you gotta be sure you're the one they are talking to and make sure you're at the marks they said. It worked out, but you don't want to be the guy that rocks at the wrong time and assumes the radio call was for you when it was actually meant for the guy ahead. And not to nitpick too much, but during the audio of the rock and perfect heading, you can see the smoke stacks were still a good distance away. Gotta make sure you're over the smoke stacks when they call over the smoke stacks

I mean, technically yea you’d be producing more parasite drag. But it’s negligible, worst thing is you’d probably be using slightly more gas.
