I Flew Here JUST to Eat Hyderabad Biryani 🇮🇳
Hyderabad Biryani is famous not just in India, but the world over. You can get this dish anywhere in the country because of its popularity, but I flew to Hyderabad itself to taste the real thing from the most famous place for it!
I also tried Iranian Chai for the first time, with some delicious sweets and biscuits in this famous, modern, and emerging Indian city!

My dad and me however are terrible at speaking Telugu which is what mum speaks while dads Aussie and American. Here in Melbourne there’s a lot of indian people and restaurants but the real feel you get to go to India is amazing. We rotate by going to america or India and I love it. I am so glad to see you enjoyed your stay in India! I am also a fan of Australia and their wildlife ( except the cassowary lol). And I have also seen this people who are from North of India have said that learning Tamil is difficult. So I understand how you feel. But if you know one of the languages of South you can try guessing what they're saying because there are a lot of similar words in all 4 of em. Telugu Kannada Tamil and Malayalam. The same even for Hindi and Sanskrit( Hindi and Sanskrit have same writing script) at times.
Hi Josie! I’m also an Aussie and I’m currently living in Hyderabad. It’s awesome seeing you try stuff over here! The people are here so friendly right!!!!!! I love it here. 😊

I've been following your journey in India & now you're in my home city!! To us Hyderabadis, Hyderabad is an emotion, you will find so much diversity here in terms of people, food, languages spoken, religious faiths & even how the city is in different parts. You have the beautiful architecture & history of Charminar & Golconda & sky high towers of Hitech City & Financial district If you're here for longer I would 100% recommend exploring rural Telangana too! Especially the cusine is just amazing. Not a lot of people know a lot about interior Telangana but as I person born & raised here, it's beautiful & now even the tourist spots are being developed! Hope you have fun here♥️

@@josieliftsthings thank you so much for sharing so honestly. It must be truly hurtful to receive negativity. And I guess it is difficult in this world to stay positive. It takes years for a tree to grow but a matter of minutes to raze it to the ground. The “burden” positive and humanistic people carry is always tough. If we read about lives of great people in history - we can see a similar trend. I will hope and wish you never give in to the negativity that you may encounter in future as well! After being in Hyderabad I found Nimraha cafe and Sadab are hyped up place and most locals never eat there....what I found the best place to have biryani was Soda Bottle Opener walla (I know its not so local and quite posh) but the taste was 1000 times better than Sadab. And for Iranian chai I too will recommend Soda Bottle Opener walla (they make authentic Iranian chai as this restaurant is a Parsi restaurant ) and cookies Karachi bakery is good but they have a upscale place called "45th avenue by Karachi bakery " where they use actual butter to make cookies. Must try!!!
Paradise hotel is synonymous with biriyani in Hyderabad, just like Chutneys is famous for dosas and idlis. Btw you should really give these foods a try over there: haleem, shawarma and falooda Also the mutton biryani at Barbeque Nation in Banjara hills is top-notch

If you go to Kolkata do not forget to try biryani there (Arsalan, Aminia, Shiraj, Nizam and many more. They are relatively less spicy than the famous Hyderabadi biryani). Also explore other types of food in Kolkata. Kolkata was a melting pot from different cultures around the world. You will be amazed to see the variety of food there.
