Yep, made the time change a few times with the US Navy. When I went to my 1st duty station in Guam I left on a wednesday evening and arrived on Friday Morning. Then when I returned to the states, i took 2 weeks of leave and went home. i Left at 12 Noon in Guam and arrived in my Moms house in Washington state at 11:30am the same day. She asked me when did I leave Guam and I said in about 1/2 an hour. Funny look on her face.

@@AUmarcus the US to UK conversion has flipped in both directions by 25% in the last six months, two of the worlds most stable and largest currencies.. at the extreme end of those each time from -25:+25 is the difference between £1:0.75c to £1:$1.25 making a £500 flight either $375 or $625, in six months … its a real swing for not much difference on two stable economies. The other interval is that we assume its recent because he only just released it, BUT he did also release on his frequent Q&A answers show that these long overhaul regional trips are filmed every 5-6 months to provide content for the next term. So theres a potential this is already at least 6 months, at the end of that showing period on top of six months plus five to screen them ? Anything upto 11 months in reality, on a 25+/- swing ….. proves the point. That couple of cents turns into hundreds of dollars just as easy And we are talking about the US Dollar here, not those mickey mouse disney dollars.. eeven though they are more stable

Congratulations on 500k! This video brings back so many good memories of a trip from Sydney for a fishing trip with a mate many years ago. We flew over cattle class but return in business as my mate had never been at the pointy end. The separate check in was great as we were the only ones in there. We were chatting at the check in desk and mentioned that it was my mates first time. Things took a bit longer than expected and I wondered. The lounge was good and mate initially was asking where we had to pay for drinks. Lol. It turned out we were on one of the last aircraft with a first class and we'd been upgraded! The cabin crew were curious and soon knew we weren't the hoy polloi, and the whole trip across the ditch was simply stunning.
Watching from Houston, welcome Home.
Awesome video, Hope you had a great flight with the leased 777
Congrats on 500k! I love Air New Zealand. We were coming back from Australia and flew them back to San Francisco. The crew was amazing. I get very nauseous flying and so barely ate going back home. The flight attendant was so worried about me and kept checking on me. I reassured her this was what happens when I fly but i was just so touched that she actually cared that I was doing okay. Best service I ever had and it was a good flight even with my nausea.

Last year I flew from Chicago to Auckland on Air New Zealand. I booked their economy skycouch, which I think is one of the best products on any airline--a full section of three economy seats that convert into a lie-flat bed. It's not quite the luxury you enjoyed here, but the cost was MUCH less than the business fare.
