Hahaha you must not golf. He will not be a scratch golfer for 5 years if he stays at it. He never plays golf, so he only knows range and lessons. When you go to a golf course, play from the tips, in the wind, you think in one year he’s going to be shooting par? Give me a break Lol

This guy's wedge numbers are about the same as mine. I use the same 50/70/100 % system. Gives you lots of confidence to know exactly what shot/club to use for whatever distance. One deviation I have, though, is that I never hit a full shot for anything under a pitching wedge. You have more control with the 70% swing. Also, it mostly mitigates the damage from skulled shots. A 70% skulled wedge doesn't go that much further than a solid one, whereas skull a full wedge and you've probably lost that ball.

Narrow stance for wedges and shorter distances. Dana Dahlquist told him wider because it was full swings with longer clubs. Need wider stance to put on brakes at right time.

@@OrvinReyes That's a funny comment. Dude has only been playing about 9 months and if you watch him then until now, you'd be just hating on the kid for the amount of improvements and strides he's made. Yes he hangs on to bad habits, but never the less, his swing has gotten so much better than 80% of the hackers out there. And this is not his full time activity. He does after all have a full time engineering job.

Hi Jerome. It must be great to be your age and be wealthy enough to travel wherever you want to get to the greatest coaches in the country and to be able to afford what they charge for lessons. I don’t know if you inherited your money, rob banks or whatever. Good for you. However, you are never going to be scratch the way you are going about it. I was scratch or better for over 40 years of my life and the six lessons I had at age 13 when I started playing, were all that I had for the next 25 years. What you need to do is learn to play golf not golf swing. You need to get off mats and get onto grass, play more golf and find yourself one coach you like and stick with him or her. You are NEVER going to be scratch on the road you are on. All that having been said, watching these lessons of yours is good for the players who watch your journey, even if you never reach your goal.
