Katie!!! You did it!!!! Congratu-freaking-lations. This was no massive undertaking and you did it in 22 days! Like whoo.. You absolutely killed it. This video was s inspiring. I have never actually tried self editing by rewriting the actual words but I may give it a go as it probably does put you in a different headspace as you are to think about all the words again as retype them. Def something to think about.

First of all, congrats!!! Ahhhh! You did that! Also though, this video is so inspiring to me. I ditched my NaNo goal after a wildly unproductive first ten days (hey, in my defense, I had a friend visiting from out-of-town). So instead, I’m trying to finish a fanfiction I’ve been writing since July. But my new goal going forward is to change it from second person (reader insert) to third! And I’m taking your advice and I’ll type it word-for-word and see how much I discover! Amazing! Great job!

Yay! dam that is a lot of words. I aspire to be on that level one day. Congrats on finishing the rewrites. I am defintely behind on my Nanowrimo but mostly because I didn't start my novel until the 19th of this month because of anxiety but now I am almost 10k in and I'm excited for what is to come of the book even if I don't win Nanowrimo at least I start my book after putting it off so long.

thank you! I didn't mold her with my own hands, but I did paint it! 🤣 and no, oddly, I don't think they changed a lot! Luca stayed very much the same (my anxious little perfectionist) but I do think I learned about Juliette's character better and so she started to feel more defined in this draft. if I ever return to the achillean version, maybe I'd see if that translates to Julius but for now, I think it is very similar!
