I see a shield with symbols. Heraldry markings? Update- this looks like an old Prince of Wales Coat of Arms, with France depicted by Fleur de Lis.
I just did another quick search of Wikipedia. You’ll see pictures of something similar under Crown(English coin). Wait, is that an E for Elizabeth?
Did some digging on the Internet: Elizabeth I, 1558-1603. Shilling, mm. Woolpack, 1594-6.
