We in America appreciate your message in the intro! This movement is so important not only to me but to millions of Americans. I want my nieces and nephew, who are mixed, to grow up not having to fear the police and see the hatred people have on their community. Black lives DO matter! I used to skate at Albert Park in Middlesbrough I had a trainer and used to get every evening and Saturdays I loved it I remember my mum buying me my boots from a special shop.

Hi Dianna! I love that you’ve started roller skating!!I played roller derby for 3 years! There are ways to stop on roller skates with out using your toe stop. That way you don’t have to worry about hurting your ankle as much. You can turn you skate to the side forming a t with your feet and drag it. That will cause you to slow down and stop or you can plow stop as well! I hope you enjoy skating around :)
