I saw Dimash in Germany but in his homeland, this is something else... We came from 68 countries to be there and every time he will perform in Kazakhstan, I will be there (by the way, this is an extraordinary beautiful country and people there are wonderful! I go back to Almaty in one month to continue visiting this amazing region). Dimash released the full concert on his KZread channel: you should react to the 3 parts, because it was stratospheric. The giant holograms were huge, the black one was the size of a 10 story building, the other two a bit less than that. Dimash lost his Father/Grandfather in between his last two concerts this year, he has just gone back to work in Los Angeles where he has been residing for most of this year. He has been writing songs, writing the original soundtrack for a new Jackie Chan film and meeting various music industry bigwigs, and many other things he needs to do to launch his career in the West. Yes, I was in that crowd :) I flew from Russia to Kazakhstan specially for this concert.. No video can convey the atmosphere of this concert. Huge stage, central screen as high as a seven-story building (side screens as high as five-story buildings). The sound quality is just amazing, making your whole body webb. Three huge Dimash look at you from a height. This video does not show how many beams of powerful projectors pierce the night sky above the heads of Dimash and thousands of people. A lot of drones flew over us. The feeling was just surreal.

Dimash promised his Spanish-speaking Dears a song in their language, so he composed “El Amor En Ti” and performed it for the first time at the Almaty Concert last fall. The different personas and voices imply a philosophical conversation between states of hopelessness and despair because of the darkness of life (black) vs the hopefulness and light that comes from embracing love instead (white) which in turn engage our feelings and touch the heart (red). Dimash's live performance in the last part as a contemporary man against the giant figures which represent different human states of consciousness brings this it into an experience of life lived fully in the moment with all three states present and acknowledged and wholly integrated into the here and now. Rather than creating cognitive dissonance by presenting opposing views, Dimash creates cognitive consonance, a state of harmony between competing emotions, beliefs and values by blending different voices, traditions, tonalities and styles (even expressed in his dress) into a gorgeous tapestry of sound and color that expresses the rich fullness of life. I was reminded of Walt Whitman’s line from the poem “Song of Myself: ‘I am large, I contain multitudes.’ Dimash does contain multitudes, and his art elevates the conflict from a two-dimensional dark vs light, good vs bad, true vs false question into a three-dimensional experience that frees us to live fully from the heart (hear how his high notes soar above and weave it together) without becoming overwhelmed by life's problems or denying the reality of life's darker aspects. Two dimensional conflicts often paralyze us with feelings of helplessness and despair and limit our ability to respond to life's storms appropriately, but when we get to a higher point of view, embrace a higher state of consciousness at the soul level by tapping into the love and peace within, we become the masters of our lives and not the victims of circumstance, and we can act with passion and confidence in the middle of the storms and, with open hearts, let our love within flow out into the world. Dimash's stated mission, to bring unity and peace to the world through his art, is very much evident in this piece. Like in "Story of One Sky," he is very intentional about the message that we need to accept all there is and allow all to have a voice and a presence, not to silence or disappear what we do not like or understand, in our selves or in the outer world. The darkness is our reality as much as the light; the work of our lives is to create a harmonious whole through love that expresses our full humanity. A shout-out to Erlan Bekchurin who arranges most of Dimash’s songs. Close friends since their teen years, Erlan is a genius in his own right, and together they make magic.

Alex, Dimash hizo la canxion después que en un chat unas dears latinas le pidieran hiciera un tema en español, y tenemos ahora esta maravilla, musica de el ysi bien la letra no es suya porque la pidio a dos dears de México, el tema de la canción si lo es, queria se tratara de este tema especifico, además para ayudarlas en su misión les envío la música por la voz mismo Dimash. Ellas lo hicieron en una dia y se la enviaron a Dimash, el la quería para el concierto en Almaty, y faltaban 20 dias para ello, y el lo hizo. Quizas algunas partes no se escuchen muy bien en cuanto al idioma pero en una presentacion ultima que ha hecho en su pais cantó El Amor en ti y su español ha mejorado bastante. Hello from Belgium 😊. I was at the concert in Almaty, and yes, it was very impressive to see Dimash 10 stories high. I couldn’t completely absorb this song though. He performed it right after The Story Of One Sky, which completely wrecked me emotionally, so I was still recovering during this song. I caught up afterwards of course, and the music he composed here, the combination of classic and modern, the harmonies, … it is simply mind blowing.

I suspect these two songs came one after another because he too needed to recover and rest after giving it all in The Story Of One Sky. The holograms part gave him a breather. He did not even change his clothes.

Thank you. There were 3 towers. The tallest was 70' tall and Dimash jumped off of it at the entrance of the concert! The 2 side ones were 50' tall. This is a performance that has never happened before! Amazing and beautiful. What a gift to the Spanish community too. :)

El concierto en almaty, Kazajistán simplemente fue alucinante, antes de ese concierto el dijo" todavía no has visto todo de lo que soy capaz" y definitivamente lo demostró, no solo las interpretaciones de todas las canciones conocidas de su repertorio sino esta fue estrenada para todos sus dears hispanohablantes que esperábamos con ansias una interpretación suya en nuestro idioma y de verdad que nos dejó fríos con semejante presentación, y con esta canción tan hermosa compuesta especialmente para él y esa puesta en escena fuera de toda imaginación, y Dimash a cuatro voces mostrándonos toda su capacidad vocal, además de la presentación también en vivo de historia de un cielo una canción de 12 minutos y con semejante derroche de voces, de técnicas, mejor dicho de todo ,sin palabras , y la presentación de la canción de su hermano mansur, una presentación de 3 horas y media donde lo entregó todo y además de la asistencia de dears de 68 países del mundo, fue un concierto inolvidable, espero que lo puedas ver , esta dividido en 3 partes en su canal. Unconcscously or consciously ( and I would guess consciously since Dimash is our Philospher Prince of Music) Dimash has created a Trio Prima that the psychologist Carl Jung would say inhabits the deepest part of our psyche. The Nigredo, the black figure that represents the old way of being facing dissolution in the dark night of the soul questioning existence; the Albedo, the white figure, the Wise Man, bringing illumination to the dark; the Rubedo, the red figure. the crucible by whom unites spirit with soul in transformation, uniting opposites and lastly the resulting Citronos - the illuminated, evolved being fueled by love and transcending dualism. This represents the journey we take in life that leads to our elevation and evolution and so all of humanity. Our Dimash is not just a singer. He is an artist of extreme cultivation and knowledge that amazingly brings the most advanced forms of thinking to popular culture, entertaining and inspring us as no other perfomer in existence. We may not understand all of his advanced thought processes but we get the message.
