I Finally Have Dual Monitors on the Steam Deck
After searching for a compatible dock for the Steam Deck in desktop mode for over a year, I've finally found a dock that supports dual monitors. It even allows three screens because the Steam Deck itself can stay on as a third monitor.
I show some of the issues I've had with other docks disconnecting so there must be a bandwidth limit on the USB-C that causes issues with other docks. The OmniCase 2 is the only dock that I've tested that has been able to consistently work in both desktop and game mode. Keep in mind that in game mode only one screen will display so you may need to switch cables to your preferred monitor.
The dock isn't officially out yet. I got mine through their Kickstarter after using the Omnicase 1 successfully with the Steam Desk. The official Steam Deck dock is still having issues for me with the screen disconnecting. I have to keep unplugging the power cable and plugging it back into the dock to get it to reconnect the screen.

Hi. Do you know if usb-c port can also send video? i mean, i am looking for dock for steam deck to connect one monitor via hdmi, but second one via usb-c.
I have one of the original Jsaux docks that they put out it only has one hdmi and I’ve tried using a splitter but I can only get a mirrored screen The new kickstarter portable dock really does the trick huh? Great video thanks!

Really disappointed that the official dock does not work with dual screens. My deck/dock are pretty much sitting unused until I need to travel because of this.

Hello, I have problems with two monitors on Steam deck, but in windows 11, with steam deck dock. When I used second monitor, resolution only 640x480 on second monitor. I try cgu, and custom driver AMD, but it's does not work. Have you try to use, jsaux dock in win11?
Help, I did something to my display settings and can't get it to display on my TV? I'm trying to change display but it's gotten worse because when plugged into the docking station it makes the deck resolution so I can't see my icons

You might have to try to change the display mode using a different monitor. I had to change the resolution of my display on the display itself to change the setting at first. Not all displays have that option though so I had to switch to a portable monitor using the same dock to change that setting. Then switching back to my main computer kept the updated resolution.
