I love it as well. With my speakers, I never had the desk space to do side by side dual monitors, but this easily solved that. 2 Monitors, no extra desk space taken. Actually less since my old screen was a 27"

Ok..thats hella dope right there. I also don't have room for 2 monitors so this would work great. If its only 2-300 more, I'll definitely hold off for the touch screen version though.

Touch screen model is supposed to be on the way, so it might be best to hold off for that one then!

For work, I have a macbook pro. I think it has m1 as well. I got it feb 2023 but I was reading something about this new m1 thing doesn’t allow more than 1 external monitor to get hooked up without a special docking station…is that true? Or is this able to simply be plugged up and used? This is my first ever macbook anything so it threw me off

Click the little apple in the left hand corner and then go to "About This Mac". If it saids M1, it won't work without a dock. If it saids "M1 Pro", then it will work plug and play. Same applies to M2/M3, just has to be a "pro" chip.

I like it and was considering it but Linus video said it has major lag issues with gaming because of the tech in it .

Just went and watched that video now. Interesting enough you can game on the bottom screen no problem though since its not flipped. I can see how that'll be a deal breaker for a gamer though. In my case I'm not doing any gaming on it so it'll work for my needs.

now THAT is a cool monitor!

Thats a great idea! I dont think there is anything else out there like it so that would be something new. The stand on this one is all metal and pretty heavy duty too

Is it a touchscreen? Can I use two Geminis and utilize 4 screens with a MacBook Pro?

This one isn't but there's a touch screen model coming out. Regarding 4 screens..the newest 2023 MacBook pro with M1 Max support 4 monitors. For any other models, you'd likely need some sort of external hardware or gpu to make it happen

@@HaithamKhaiyat No. Previously it showed on their kickstarter page as "Geminos X", but now it appears no one sells it so im not sure if there was an issue or what. Currently its only the non touch version.

Apple does not make OLED screen on the MacBook Pro.

No, all ports and connections are all integrated into the stand.

Hi there, thanks for the review. Thinking about getting this for my son who's into video editing. I do have a question about the features. Are both monitors always on or is there an option to have 1 monitor on and 1 off? If you're able to have just 1 monitor on does it let you choose which monitor to turn off?

Just checked and it looks like their both automatically on if their both plugged in. You'd only be able to turn the other off if you unplug the 2nd hdmi cord or change the source in its menu settings

​@@EricReviewsThanks for the response. I figured as much. I end up buying him 2 monitors yesterday with a desk mount to try and save space. We'll see how he likes that. It'll have to do for now. He can buy his own monitors next time. 😂

I do scriptwriting and this is a game changer for me!

Absolutely. You'll probably need a quad docking station though as most computers don't natively support 4 monitors

I'm really wish it had 27 in and more resolution because, my current setup does.. but it may be worth the sacrifice for space

@@nubian730 Agreed. They are releasing a touch screen model soon, but I'm not sure if its still 1080p or better. That and im sure its going to cost quite a bit more.

great but bit too low for gaming..I need higher refresh or 2k resolution at least.

Yeah, if you're someone that needs higher resolutions or refresh rates then you're definitely better off with something else. I'm more on the side of a casual gamer so 1080p gaming @ 60hz doesn't really bother me

They actually mentioned a 2K version on their kickstarter before so hopefully they just pushed it back and plan to release it soon. I know their supposed to come out with a touch screen version as well.

Its only 60hz but you can definately game on it still

One of the worst purchases I have ever made. Terrible functionality, no Mac support, and they simply don't answer their customer service phone number or email. 0/10.

Can't speak for support but I use mine exclusively with a Mac and haven't had any issues.
