nice desk, just FYI Uplift also does real wood and has a lot more choices than the company you got yours from. Not only that but they have a LOT more desk customization options, like returns (L-shape desks) and more. I was also looking for a killer desk and ultimately went with them because of how much I could customize it to my needs.

What deskmat are you using ?

Gorgeous setup, but I wonder if you could find a way to hide the microphone from the shot. It fights with you for attention, since it's the size of your face and right in the center. Maybe in a video about the setup itself that's fine, but otherwise I find it to be distracting.

I use the iD24 now but in all honesty the conversion in all these new units is so good you're not going to hear an audible difference and should be good anyway you go. Buy based off your connectivity needs. Bonus points if you use my link!

I bought a cable management tray from a different brand and just screwed it on. Not sure on the Black Friday sales, I'm still waiting to see if prices drop on some things myself but I super appreciate you using my links if you end up ordering.

I have a question about the id 24. When i am scrolling through sounds, I'm not able to preview them. I literally have to drop it into my session view to preview sounds. Have you experienced this?

I have A7V as well but use them vertical. As far as horizontal orientation...is your woofer and tweeter backwards. Usually tweeters are on outside? Maybe Adams said to do it that way? Just curious as i might turn mine to horizontal. Loved the video.

I saw the AH8 which is their top of the line speaker in the A series and noticed the tweeters are inside, after speaking with Adam these were designed to go either way, you really have to experiment and see what works best but this orientation for me is best

Nothing wrong with the Motu I just wanted a more desktop friendlier form factor with a big knob and since the iD24 has Insert Returns it means I can connect outboard gear so I went with it. Whatever you decide, either will be great but when you buy I'd super appreciate you using my link in the description which helps the channel.

@@JacobDarkOfficial Doesn't have to be Herman Miller. Herman Miller is good because 40% quality and 60% because "if you don't have one you suck as a youtuber". I bought an office chair that we have in our company for my home as well. It's a Dauphin Just Evo 3D Synchro - extremely confy chair with 3D movement that follow your legs and back. It costed 720EUR (Germany). After this chair, all those "gaming" subproducts feel ridiculous. Only when you try a decent chair, you will recognize the "gaming" stupidity.

Hmmm. Seeing a pattern here. The Monoprice standing desk I got has the same specs at 1/10 the price. The Hisense monitor I got - 43 in versus 32 inch here - is 1/10 the price, yes yes I know not the same quality, but 10 times the price? So maybe this is the 10 Times Channel? Enjoyed the video!

They're not labeled L/R and you can rotate the tweeters to set them how you prefer

@Bruno Martelli I thought the same initially then noticed Adam Audios more expensive version in this line, the A8H which are sideways have the tweeters inside. I reached out to them and they confirmed that the tweeters in this line can be either way, it's personal preference. I tried them both ways and they sound amazing to me this way, it could differ based on your room

1 year later, this is the reason why I upgraded from my previous desk

Instead of secret lab , I will suggest using a steel case or a Herman-Miller. Will server you better in the long run.

@Nic Bam I have stands but with this 72" wide desk they'd be way too far apart, plus my room is only 9 ft wide, had to compromise somewhere. That said they sound pretty great and any desk resonance is hardly noticeable
