I'm old enough to remember when Simon & Garfunkel debuted this song but as great as that song was and is I never remember crying over it. UNTIL this young blessing came along. A voice for the ages that has arms that reach out and grab your heart and soul. He will heal many.

As many times as I’ve heard a lot of these classics and have heavily enjoyed, I’ve never felt the songs this way. They’re more than just great songs to me now, I have perspective that I can translate into my own life. He has a way of bringing emotions to the words.

This may seem a bit out of left field, but given the message of this song this seems like the best place to recommend Soul Asylum "Runaway Train". The song is about depression, but the band voluntarily used its music video to draw attention to the problem of missing youth in the USA. I swear, it's completely up your alley and just incredible, not least because it actually managed to reunite some families. Talk about breaking the silence.
