Because Iam's homecoming is a lot of people compare to the others. People were complaining about the AI winner, We, and the whole world, see it from his first audition. Iam captured the hearts of the world.

You can tell the band and back up singers were all having fun and jamming out. Love that Iam chose to continue to bring Polynesian music to the world and not just play it safe singing songs everyone already knew

Cool Down is the title of the 3rd song he performed. It’s a local song from a local Hawaiian group named Kolohe Kai. It’s a banger here in the islands! And to hear it on the world stage is just CRAZY!!

Polynesian culture

The Kahuku Football Team did a HAKA, which is a Polynesian ceremonial 'war' or 'honor' dance. In this case it was proformed br his peers to honor Iam. This Haka was written especially for Kahuku High School.

This was the jam in Hawaii😂🤣👌That is so Iam❤️❤️ That American Idol band served it too they were on fiyah w Iam🤙🏽Dennis😆😂🤣you’re right no cooling down🤙🏽😜

You should have seen Kolohe Kai’s reaction when he saw Iam chose his song to perform on American Idol. He was surprised and excited. It was priceless. Iam did such an awesome job throughout all his performances on American Idol. He has touched and healed so many hearts.

That celebration dance thing is called the "haka". It's a war dance performed by warriors long ago to signify a great battle or an event. In Hawaii, it's danced almost every single time during a big game or event and all of the different Island cultures have their own dance.

The dance is called a Haka! It’s a Polynesian war cry. Every Polynesian country has one. We are a international community of faith and family. We carry cultural pride and a cultural responsibility that is enforced by our elders.

The dance is called the HAKA. It's a traditional form frm the warriors to intimidate the enemy. Now they perform that as a hype up and honor.

Haka is used as a welcome dance, or you can translate as a warrior dance. We can fight (support) with you until the end. Anyway, we appreciate all your help during his journey. Some polynesian islands have their own warrior dance. If you have a chance to watch a rugby team tournament before a game starts, some polynesian team performs a warrior dance before the game starts.
