Awesome video!! Just subscribed! This might be forward of me to ask in your comments but I'm a newly video editor myself and I want to start making my own content. I'm spending more time pulling clips then I am editing, what's your process of getting clips? I'm rewatching episodes pulling clip by clip, I feel like I'm doing it wrong lol

I find a song first. Once I find a song I love I find a theme. Whether its Grief, Love, Loss, etc. Once I have my theme I think of all the TV Shows and Movies that I love and pull scenes that match my theme. Once I pull a scene I edit that scene to match the flow of the song I chose. :) If you want more detail don't hesitate to reach out ! I hope this helps !

Where we differ is that, I know the scenes I want to pull but I end up going thru the whole series again to see if there's more that I could use and THAT for sure is slowing me down lol. But if I just pull the scenes I need, that may be enough. I appreciate you answering my question! I haven't seen editors discuss their bts process, thank you for being honest and forward with me!
