I feel like match 2 was a serious throw with refusal to discard. The deck only needs 4 lands to function, and seth paid 6 life against monored to keep lands 5 and 6 - after refusing to discard yargle in the first game in a deck built around discarding yargle to win.

Seth does a better job pronouncing Yargle's flavor text than a good chunk of card names (this is not a criticism)

I'm glad I watched this for the simple fact that I got to see Seth try to say the flavor text of Yargle at 34:30

It wasn't a punt to not rummage, it was a punt to not discard Yargle with that removal spell since your not gonna be casting it for 6 mana against a red aggro deck

I literally never heard that's a slang on phone lol. If anything on phone my spelling is better since they have these spelling suggestion which is a one tap away to fix your stuff. On pc on the other hands, so many typos because I have to right click and check spelling.

I think the issue with Deadly Complications/ Barbed Servitor isn't that you didn't stick the creature, but that you continually chose to attack with it rather than keep it back on defense when you could have. Also you got lucky one game thinking you had the full combo in hand because Deadly Complication looks a lot like Corpse Explosion, but then you happened to top deck the Corpse Explosion.

NOOOOO SETH!!! I WAS LITERALLY UPLOADING A VIDEO LIKE THIS TO SEND TO YOU!!! The only difference is that the combo I used was was yargle/corpse explosion/tangled colony to make 18 rats.

I'm so glad to see someone else using corpse explosion, I've been running a couple of them in my grixis shadow's deck and it's never let me down

The name of the deck is a winner if nothing else.

10:15 Barbed Servitor is also better than other Stuffy Dolls because it does life loss instead of damage.

I'm pretty sure deadly complication is a sorcery because of limited. Being able to kill a creature and do a combat trick would be insanely good.

Why the hell can Seth pronounce "Gnshhagghkkapphribbit" perfectly fine but he can't pronounce Takenuma?!

The 4 mana kaya is actually pretty nice, I was messing around a few weeks ago with a mardu deck where the allstar was the MKM Rakdos - it's a lot better than it looks, especially when your random 1/1 suddenly becomes a 6/6 flampler on t4 that draws 2 cards. I was also REALLY impressed by just resolving one against most decks

Seth, have you seen the vein ripper reanimation combo? If you haven’t, the deck I got beat by tried to get a bunch of treasures in rakdos then use the pull side of push pull to reanimate 2 vein rippers with haste, swing for 12 then drain for 8 on end step.

Your positivity really sells the content with these vids Seth. However over the last few vids I'm not sure if Ive missed an in-joke? You keep referring to Aftermath Analysis rather than Aftermath Analyst. So much so that in this vid you even question what the plural of analysis is... Don't know why I end up fixating on this. Only seth can think "vs mono red aggro, its best to self burn 3 health, and keep the 6 drop that can at best block 1 creature in hand, instead of setting up my combo that only needs 1 more card".

Used something with ziatora as the sac outlet, where even if you dont kill you still get the three treasures

M1 G1 you could have played the yargle, hoped they didn't topdeck, and then fling/explode the yargle to win...

I fell for the meme and built a Barbed Servitor / Phyrexian Obliterator deck that relies on Fight spells to win. It performs better than it deserves to because people scoop when they have to sacrifice lands to Obliterator.

The Barbed Servitor is such a sussy baka.

At this point the ANALYSIS has to be deliberate. No way no one has told him its actually Analyst.

How have you STILL not learned how to pronounce the word "Analyst" yet? You played the deck and 90% of the comments were about the fact that the CREATURE is an ANALYST not an ANALYSIS.

If you want to continue down the deadly complications route this might be a good deck for case of the stashed skeleton to tutor but that still seems too bad to me, it's just a way to have a 2 drop that can get in for that chip damage that isn't really a problem anyways but then when you cast deadly complications it 'makes' a blocker and puts a demonic tutor into your hand. Hard to analyze the total cost of that combined effect but when it works I *suspect* it's great but might be too much junk when it doesn't line up

I also use it in my master biomancer gruff triplets deck.

My take on indestructible as it is right now is that it makes no sense there are so many 1/1 indestructible for 4 mana cards when there's so much exile flying around. I guess that being a 1/1 gives them some protection of "why would I use removal on this" but also sometimes you just gotta and it's not nearly enough protection to justify the cost. Specially when there's also 1 mana -1/-1 cards that also kill the indestructible 1/1.

If it wasn't for 2 exile bordwipes being the most played sweepers (at least it feels that way), the -1/-1 effects would be much more relevant to deal with indestructibility, and there are usually not a lot of playable ones around in addition to being almost always black.

Add in ill. Timed explosion and you get to discard yargle to wipe then board then corpse explosion the final damage needed to kill the opponent and all you need is servitor in play or a way to make your looner indestructible for the ill timed explosion turn😊
