It's 1:26a.m this 4th day of July 2022, in Kampala, Uganda (E.Africa). I am in hospital waiting for my wife to give birth. Felt the leading to look for this song and I am now so encouraged. My wife just lost her mom and yet here I am challenged to give God all the praise, exalting him because He makes all things work together for the good. I am believing God for my wife to receive Strength to give birth in the midst of this contradiction of grief over losing her Mum yesterday and giving life to our 2nd born today. Let the Lord be exalted and magnified in our midst. LORD, I exalt thee, and I shall testify of your faithfulness.

It's 1:30a.m this 5th day of July 2022, and I am back to give God all the praise. My wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. The great and faithful God we serve has been very faithful, comforted my wife and gave her strength to give birth in the midst of the loss of her mother. We chose to exalt the Name of the LORD in the midst of the storm. Now, He has turned our mourning into dancing. I exalt thee oh LORD!

My wife eventually gave birth to a bouncing baby boy later that day. Baby and mother are fine, and the little one is already one month old today, the 9th day of August 2022, and in very good health. I kept replaying and worship in this song through out the trying time, and the Lord proved himself faithful. I exalted him, and I continue to exalt Him; He is my hero, and my closest friend. I Exalt Thee !

Yes! Agreed! I was 37 years old back then (going on 73 now), and we had six kids (ranging 2-19). We all used to go to every Phil Driscoll concert we could find near us, in California. We bought albums, and as one of our song leaders in our church, I introduced many songs like this to our members. One reason I loved his music so much, is that trumpet (cornet, actually) was my instrument going through high school. Plus my main love in life has always been singing. Then when I turned my life completely over to Jesus and found someone making music that went straight to my spirit, I wanted to hear as much as I possibly could. Just about a year ago, now, I bought myself a new trumpet...not a hugely great one, but I've been enjoying playing again. One of the songs that Phil used to play a lot was "Blow the Trumpet in Zion." I've been practicing that one again, now. Don't know if I'll ever play in public again, but, hey! Just making music between myself and God is great! Hallelujah! God is good!

I watched this when he played it at the funeral and it was so much better. It just poured out of Phil with such emotion, it was absolutely beautiful! You could just feel the presence of the Lord. I’m sure our Lord and Marcus were hearing it in Heaven and enjoying every minute of it. At least that is the way it made me feel. I still listen to it, at least once a week.

Yes, tremendously blessed, during Marcus's funeral, my soul was weeping deeply. And, yes, Phil Driscol ushered us all into the presence of God, directly into the throne room... My God, oh how (we) I love You! I must have replayed the homegoing over many times, blessed by the whole service. Joni and the family are in my prayers daily. Blessed by all the testimonies! And yes, without a doubt I know that brother Marcus is with Jesus! So glad that the Holy Spirit invited me to attend. Sincerely!

When he sang this @ Marcus Lambs farewell. The anointing on Phil was electrifying, I was so emotional, every part of me was tingling. Such was the Presence of the Holy Spirit coming through the TV. So Powerful, So Beautiful. A song To Jesus. It's all about Him. That's why I love these older Worship Songs. Phil plays how he 'Feels' & that I believe is how all musicians & singers should do. What Is perfection? What is playing note for note? Your additional chords make a huge difference. Phils is by far the very best. It is Not a performance. It's from his heart. Love it. I believe in God's anointing on this song. I used this song in praise about this time two years ago in distress and God came through for me, I am in another dire need of God's intervention now, I am turning to God in praise as I have reached my wits end.
